Easy for beginners
I am a cat sitter. These kitties I visit every other day and cats need enrichment so I bought 3 different treat puzzles. I like this one the best. Easiest for beginners to get the concept of the treat hiding, it slides easy so the cat can get it instead of getting frustrated and walking away. I have a few of them down. The black cat is more treat driven so she needs them more than the other kitty that is lucky to find a treat in a cupcake paper

Too easy for my dogs :/
Okay so like many amazon buyers i always look at the reviews and this had pretty good ones, i have two big dogs who are very treat motivated and pretty smart and needed something to keep them occupied and out of trouble when im busy. And it did, for like 2 minutes. My smaller of the two dogs got all the treats really quick and i was hoping to give her something for longer. All of it is very thin plastic and the little pieces that cover the treat holes feel like theyre about to fall out. I tried it out with both dogs and being dogs they were pawing and biting the thing and i would be scared they could pop the movable pieces out and chew them (for as smart as they are they are equally dumb). I understand the concept but it just wasnt a good fit for me and my dogs. Its also very annoying to clean, water gets trapped in the holes and difficult to get all the dog slobber off. It might work for someone whos animal is lazy and not entirely treat motivated

It's fine. Entertaining, but tough to clean & traps cat treats
This entertains my cat, but it also traps his treats. And, it's hard to clean. It's made of two pieces of plastic, and there's a gap between the bottom (with the "pockets") and the surface panel (with the sliders). So, the poor kitty loses at least half his treats in there. We're keeping it, because it works well enough and we like to switch out the cat's treat puzzles to keep him stimulated. But I wouldn't have bought it if I'd known then what I know now.

My un-cooperative cat actually likes this
I have tried many toys to keep my cat from getting totally bored. All of them failed. This actually works! After a few days of casual attempts at working the puzzle he finally worked it out. Now, he keeps an eye on it and will periodically check to see if a hidden treat has magically appeared that needs to be found and scarfed down.

I don't know, my cat chose to starve before trying this thing.
It is a bit hard to move the doors, my cat tried to push it with his nose, poked at it then decided to lay on it and fall asleep.. My cat would probably starve before learning how to problem solve with this thing. Overall it is not that amusing and not the best choice in a gift for my son's cat.. I did not return it since we had not tried it out for the first 6 months of purchasing it.. I gifted it to a friend who has small dogs and wished them better luck.. Would not recommend sorry.. Maybe one of the wooden ones would be an easier choice for a cat?

Entertaining
I have a 3-month-old puppy and this kept her very occupied. I used it for treats instead of dog food. I love that it didn't slide around or move at all on our hardwood floors either. Totally recommend for active dogs!

My cats love it
Got this for my cats and they love it. I leave them dry food when i work long hours, but if i leave it in a bowl they’ll scarf it down all at once. This feeder helps them eat less as well as keeps them busy and mentally stimulated

Puppies love this!
My puppies love this and sometimes it’s the only way they like kibble.
