True to size, stiff fabric
I am 5'7" with a 34" waist and normally wear a size 12/14. I bought the XL in this skirt knowing it might be a little too small based off the size chart. The material is very stiff but good quality fabric and seams. I slide the skirt on and it just fit, barely though. It was a little uncomfortable to wear at first but the more I wore it around the house, the more the fabric relaxed and felt decent. I still think it's a tad too small for me but true to the American Apparel size chart. I will keep it though bc I love the colors and style.

Color different from the pic
LOVE IT! the actual color for this blue check skirt is grey? But I love this color anyway. Also fits perfectly! Really hope they have more color

No elastic waist
No elastic in the waist and too small

Runs Big
It runs so big. I purchased xxs which it says the waist is about 55-58cm. However, after I got the item, it doesn’t fit at all. I measured the waist by hand and it’s about 62-63cm, which has a huge error of the product information. It fits like small anyways. I returned it.

It was smaller than I expected but I gave it to a smaller relative and it looks awesome on them. The XL fit someone who is actually medium.
