Q: Can i use it to keep my wallet closed???

if you can sew it on your wallet it might work. Is is NOT a glue or press-on product.

Q: Would this product be suitable for replacing the velcro on sandal straps?

Hi! It probably will work. If using a machine, be sure you have a heavy-duty needle especially if strap is thick. If sewing by hand using heavy-duty sewing needle, thimble and take your time. Fabri-Tac glue is an alternative to sewing - it glues about anything!!! Good luck!
