Great project!
Immediate fun for my 5 and 7 yr old. They read/followed the instructions themselves. Minimal assistance was needed. It was an elf present. They opened that box and had it done in less than an hour. Definitely worth it for the low price. There can be minimal leaking which they also warn about in the instructions. But only if you squeeze it way too hard.

Great family craft
We do a Christmas craft each year and this was the pick for 2021. We had a lot of fun making these, plus this doubled as a learning experience to make shapes and mix colors for my daughter. We had more than enough clay with some leftover. There are disclaimers that warn for potential leaking as it's not a 'professional' craft, however we followed instructions closely and have had no issues and they seem to be well-sealed. I highly recommend.

SO FUN!!! But.... so hard to fill with water.
We made with with 4, 6 and 8 year old cousins. They had SO much fun. They needed a little adult help but did it mostly on their own until the gluing and filling with water. It is SO hard to fill with water! The funnel doesn't work. The water won't go down the funnel due to the air pressure. I used a little medicine dropper and that worked great at first until I realized that due to the air pressure, it was breaking the seal on the glue. I ended up using the dropper to fill them, but had to hold it at an angle to let air escape as the water went in. Very time consuming, but it worked and the kids love their snow globes. I recommend using hot glue to seal them instead of just what comes with the kit though. I also wish the company had 2 holes in the bottom, one for filling with water and one for letting the air escape and then just have plugs for them both. I think this would make filling them SO much easier.

All three turned out very nice and the grandchildren love them
There is such a scant amount of white clay to use on the bases (you have to share the tube of clay with all three water globes) that it really was hard to spread it that thin. Using the blue, yellow or red for the base coat would have looked goofy so we stuck with white. Follow the hints page on how to assemble-we added a bit of clay to each thing we put on our base as instructed to help adhere them to the base. We even added extra ornamental pieces from our craft box. My oldest grandson's ended up being two Lego Army men with one sitting on the reindeer's back and an ammo box stuffed with toys. ;) Don't overdo the sprinkle 'snow' glitter! It even tells you that but we must have done too much and ended up pulling the stopper in the bottom after filling with water and using an eye dropper to pull out some of that glitter. Follow the directions and be sure to push the globe part down firmly on the base to seal well before filling. All three turned out very nice and the grandchildren love them! I recommend these!

We had a blast doing these with our kids.
We bought this so our girls could make something for their Mimi before she moved to Florida. They had a blast (as did we) and the gift turned out absolutely adorable. My old complaint, which really isn't a complaint but I wish it came with a little more clay. Because we ended up using the majority of the clay for one snow globe. We made a penguin, an elf on the shelf, a snowman and more. If you love getting your kids involved with making stuff, this item is definitely worth it.

Poor quality, would not recommend
I wanted to like this, but it just doesn’t work. The clay items you create do not stay stuck to the bottom, and as a result they float around in the water. There isn't enough glitter to look like a real snow globe. It’s also too challenging for a child to do, which means that the parent ends up doing 90% of the work on it. Don’t waste your money on this.

Fun Christmas craft.
To get in the spirit of the holiday I ordered this to do with my kids. It did not disappoint. Some parts are a little difficult so younger kids may need help but it was fun to do.

Great Idea, Poor Execution, Prepare to Improvise
Here’s the deal, this snow globe kit sounds like a fun, creative project for you and your kid. The idea is solid: make your own snow globesBut once you open the box, it quickly turns into a nightmare crash course in frustration management and DIY problem-solving. If you’re expecting a smooth and ready-to-go craft session, then think again. This kit’s got more issues than a reality TV reunion.1. The instructions are a mess. Barely a mention of guidance on how to assemble the characters or properly seal the globes. You’re left to wing it and hope for the best2. The clay is a nightmare. The colors are stuck together, and separating them turns into an accidental tie-dye session. Want pristine whites or blues? Nope, they all end up with a muddy tint.3. The glue? Laughable. It’s so bad you’ll be reaching for your own superglue or hot glue gun just to keep water from leaking out. This kit that requires you to BYO adhesive.4. Filling the water is maddening. The process is vaguely explained and leads to unnecessary glitter wastageIf you’re expecting plug-and-play fun, this might leave you and your kid feeling frustrated
