I bought the exact same book shelf for my daughter's room before she was even born. Over time she broke a couple of the rods that support the sling shelves. She's almost 6 yrs old now. It's actually really sturdy and no issue with it tumbling over. It holds lots of books, as well as other things with the 2 big drawers at the bottom. It's also very attractive. I liked it so much I bought it again. The first one was a bit damaged but the company replaced it and even gave me money back for the inconvenience. Great Customer service! Exceeded my expectations!

As a teacher and first time mom, I love this shelf! I ordered it for my nursery at home because of the book display, color and storage bins. I didn't expect it to fit a bunch of books because I read previous reviews first and it fits about 20, probably could fit more if they're layered more. I put a lot of my bigger books in one of the storage bins and toys, flash cards etc. in the other. It took my husband about 40 mins to build so it wasn't too difficult.

This is a cute piece and I wanted to love it, but unfortunately it's not the best quality and seems poorly made. The holes that they drilled don't line up correctly so the wood pieces are off center. One of the wooden dowels came damaged as well. You can't really tell from far away, but I know and it's irritating to have a new product arrive like that. I will keep it because it's a pain to return, but I definitely wouldn't purchase again.

I ordered raise cute book shelf for my kids since their book collection is growing. I was so excited to assemble it for then and the last wood piece came broken not sure if it was amazon or ups. It's such a shame because it's so cute but it's not a scratch I can't even screw in the screw.

I’ve only had it a day but this shelf exceeded my expectations! It’s made well and is very sturdy. It also holds way more than many of the reviews suggested. I have about 83 board books of various sizes in it and there is room for more in the 2nd drawer. I’m very glad we splurged in it. It’s well worth the money and exactly what I was looking for!!!

I love this bookcase- my grandson is 1 yo - he uses it stand up, then he likes to grab out some books (smaller books that he doesn't bean himself with).It was fairly easy to assemble and nice enough looking for an inexpensive piece.

I was very impressed by the packaging, assembly instructions and the overall look of the book storage. The cloth bins are perfect to store small stuffed animals for reading time! It’s perfect.
