Suits all skin tones
The texture of this lipstick is magnificent, and the colour is beautiful. I would say it is the equivalent of Rum Raising from the same brand, but designed for brown skin tones. The shade is a blend of burnt red and neutral brown; depending on your skin tone, it can be a bold option without being overpowering, or even a very flattering nude. I believe it is a shade that suits all skin tones. The finish is matte, but it doesn’t look dry at all. It’s more of a velvety finish that can be applied in light layers with tapping motions, blended out, or built up to full coverage without becoming patchy, which is what usually happens with darker shades.

Lovely moist lipstick better than I thought it would be as it was described as matte and matte lipsticks tend to be dry but this one isn’t.It’s just right and a lovely shade of pinky purple.

Perfect match
Wanted to match Charlotte Tilbury lipstick that I love and put this in my handbag on nights out, as I have the tendency to loose lipsticks!! Absolutely perfect match to Charlotte Tilbury medium colour and it did make me question why I was purchasing a more expensive lipstick, when this one was identical in colour and applied perfectly too…🤔

So dark..
The images do not do this lipstick justice. It is a beautiful colour, but I think that the colour needs to be far clearer, it's really dark, so dark that I look like I have joined a vampire cosplay. I love it, but it's not one I will wear without mixing it with a balm of some kind to tone it down.
