Works really well
Brought these for my sproker who has a back leg that plays up n makes her limp. Within a couple of days taking these shes like a different dog honest. Shes much more bouncy playful. I have since changed to a cheaper brand n she is still not limping .

Looks good from the short time of use.
Not used these too long but our Labrador takes them very well just like a treat. And hopefully this keeps him in tip top shape with his joints. For the price well worth a go with them.

Trusted supplements for strong joints but not the best VFM
We’ve been giving Daisy green lipped mussel-based supplements for over a year, since she was hit by a car and tore all the ligaments in her front right elbow. We choose to believe in the benefits. She was a hyperactive puppy and thanks to surgery and exercise and the great care we take with her diet she’s still a hyperactive dog-years-teenager.Green lipped mussel isn’t the headline grabbing super ingredient it was a few years ago but is now a comfortably established, reasonably trusted part of the supplements market. The specific “e-numbers” are glucosamine, along with vitamins C and E, and a scattering of other minerals, antioxidants and Omegas. For anyone new to these supplements, manufacturer Monbelle recommends a double dose for 4 weeks to restore “lost reserves” of glucosamine. I’ve seen the same recommendation elsewhere, and it ties in with another observation that improvement is most obvious in the first few weeks. Then you’re into “maintenance”.It’s already a habit with us so we’re straight into that maintenance phase. These pills are for a 1 to 6 year old “young dog”– which at 3 Daisy is still very much, and at her full adult weight – and the glucosamine content is 125 mg per tablet, which is half the dosage we’ve seen recommended in other supplements.Daisy is in the 16 to 25 kg “medium” weight range, which means a recommended dose of 2 tablets per day, which the ingredients panel works out to be 250 mg, plus a bit, glucosamine daily. Other sources suggest between 500 and 1000 mg, or 15 mg/kg.There’s no issue with the product itself, but you should consider that the manufacturer themselves provide higher dosage green lipped mussel supplements in more cost effective packages.

Thought this would help support my developing puppy but guidelines aren't clear which puts me off
I chose this item for my 9 week old field spaniel. She gobbles them down with her food straight away, no questions asked so I guess they must taste good. She wasn't in pain and has no injuries etc it is simply to supplement her diet while she's young to give her the best start in life. However, I found the directions for use lacking somewhat so that's the main reason I only give 3 stars. It gives recommended doses for the dog depending on weight, but is this current weight or typical adult weight? Who knows!? But you need this information to determine how many tablets your dog needs but how are you to do this when the instructions are so vague? I've been giving one a day and haven't doubled up as recommended to build up the glucosamine reserves. I just find the directions rather vague and it puts me off/makes me feel less sure of the product.

Great idea for Larger Breeds in their Earlier Years
These are very similar to some we got for our younger dog a fewer months ago as we'd been using joint tablets for our older dog for some time but despite our younger dog also being the same large breed (though not as largely built as our older dog) and with him being so endlessly active we decided it would be a good idea to give something similar to our younger dog too as a preventative measure. They share many of the same ingredients as our older dogs joint supplements but obviously with slightly different values and the main thing is that like our younger dog yours fits into the 1-6 years old age range and you follow the dose guide based on weight. These are good value though of course will last differently depending on your dogs weight/size but at two a day these will last us around a month and based on knowing these work I'd consider that good value for what thy do.

Seem to work and were eagerly eaten
It's difficult to tell in any exact way if these have actually worked but my dogs (one 3 and one 5 at the time we tried these) both seemed to benefit from the Monbelle Dog Young & Active Supplements 60 Tablets. The small, off-white tablets were swallowed with food and there was no issue spitting them out as we've had with some other tablets (don't get me started on how worming tablet manufacturers can't somehow make them tastier) and the dogs are in fine health and bounding around, so I can't really say more than that.
