World of Data Laptop Security Lock ~ Combination Type ~ 10,000 Codes ~ Virtually Unbreakable

Just got it today and it seems fine.Fits my laptop without any issue. Seems strong enough but I doubt any cable will stop someone who is willing to damage your laptop.Instructions for changing the code is confusing and it was only after I found some comments on the web that I worked out what to do. You need to hold down the button but it is NOT the large button by the cable but a small recessed button at the opposite end of the lock from the cable.

This lock is not nearly as good as the description makes out. The cable itself seems pretty sturdy but that is where the good points end.The section that goes inside the port on the laptop is made up of 3 cheap feeling bits of metal that do not seem to lock into place properly, to the point where i was once able to wiggle the lock free after attaching it to my laptop. The numbers on thew combination lock are stiff and difficult to move separately from each other. The lock can rotate about the cable but this doesn't work properly, so it is possible to lock the thing to your laptop and have it swivel so the cable is facing downwards (meaning the laptop wont lie flat) and then getting stuck there making it very difficult to unlock again.An overall useless product. Worth looking elsewhere or spending more.
