Quality Target
Obviously this ain't the cheapest option, but I liked the splatterburst feature and the "intimidating" factor of having three dudes pointing a gun at you. Makes for _slightly_ more realistic shooting for self defense. The paper is thick enough--more or less like posterboard. The splatter works. Even at about 50 yds (with a 12g slug) I could see it. Much farther, and it's harder to tell. I also bought the hole cover stickers. They don't quite do it for covering a 12g, but almost, as you can see in the pic.My only criticism is it's not very hard to accidentally scratch off the black, so gotta be a little careful storing and moving them.

Very nice, but pricey
I love shooting at my local range, and really liked these targets for this purpose. They are quite large (18x24), and with the splatterburst, allowed me to see my accuracy from long distances without pulling the target back in. I also liked the fact that these have a triple silhouette, allowing more movement during practice.Considering the fact that the targets cost over $40 for 10, for me, they seemed overly pricey, and as a result I also bought the patches to re-use these targets. Even with the patches, I used the target fairly quickly, but have not bought them again due to the price point.A fun treat, though, when you want to "splurge," or are over 40 and can't see where you hit on the target like you used to....

I'm catching up with the experts because of these targets!
I can see without running down to the target to see if I hit it. I'm new to shooting so I still run down just to make sure :) These are helping me so much. I'm catching up with the others who have been shooting for years. I have surprised all of them and it's because of these targets. I'm able to focus so much more without the fear of missing and avoiding my turn. They make me feel more confident. With the plain white targets I couldn't see them clearly enough to even get close. I thought I would just be a bench warmer but not anymore! Everyone loves these also. They don't use the regular targets anymore, lucky for me! Every time it's my turn I put up a new Splatterburst target, then I let everyone else go crazy. I can watch and learn from them. One time I did so well that they took it down and I couldn't understand why? They wrote my name, date and the # of yards I was shooting from and gave it to me to keep. That's how good these are.I wanted to try one handed and when I did, I hit the target dead center. Everyone just stood there and they were all speechless. That was my moment of fame and I was so proud thanks to these targets. They also have cover buttons to put over the used holes (now you know how new I am) to match each color on the targets so you can keep using them over and over. I have bought these 3 times now and more of the smaller Splatterburst Targets. I'll keep using these HUGE targets until I get good enough to move up. But I don't think that will be to long thanks to these. They are worth every penny whether you are new or the best.

Nice high-vis targets for range use
Really heavy card stock paper, so the targets sit nicely without requiring a ton of tape to keep straight. The splatter technology is quite cool and makes visibility even at 15 yards pretty good and really great at anything 10 and less. We're new to firearms and going to the range for practice, so the ability to see the results of your aim without pulling the target back is really nice. We started with a 10 pack, which will last us quite a while. These larger sized targets easily absorbed 30-40 9mm rounds on our first use and could probably be reused 1 more time if you weren't keeping score.

Great for shooting at distance with fading eyesight
I'm getting older, so I bought these for when I am shooting at 25 or 50 yards so I can see how I'm doing with my iron sights. These work really well for that. The only downside with regard to using iron sights is that it has a black background, so the sights don't pop out in your vision as easily if you were shooting at a light colored target. These are best for use in quicker shooting drills where you are going for hitting the right area, as opposed to a precise spot shot after shot. Great for pistol drills. If you are using a magnified scope, or iron sights close in, I think standard targets will work fine.

Worth every penny to me
Try these targets, I do not think you can be disappointed by them. Be sure to get the "replacement dots" to cover holes and these targets are very affordable, because you can use the target for many rounds..My eyes are aging, like everyone else out there, these targets are perfect for instantly indicating where my shots land on the target even at a distance. I didn't realize how good these targets are until I tried them at my indoor range. Now I don't want to go back to regular targets. Worth every penny!!!

Excellent For Practice Drills
This is my second set of Splatterburst targets and I bought them along with a set of Splatterburst patches (wish I had heard of THEM sooner!) which I reviewed separately. They are excellent for providing immediate feedback of your shot placement during practice drills. They are bit pricey but you can double (or triple) the life of a single target if you also invest in the patches mentioned above.I built some DIY target stands after watching a few YouTube videos so, I needed the 18”x24” size but they do come smaller. Great product.

I’ll be buying these again
Great price, and they work, however I don’t recommend them if you’re using a .22 since the bullet is so small it doesn’t really splatter. I love seeing exactly what I’m hitting without bringing the target in after a few shots or squinting and guessing at what I hit.I love the larger size since the only splatter targets at my local range were about half the size. But, I do wish there were more fun target choicest to choose from like zombies. You don’t always have to aim at a bullseye. The paper zombie targets I sometimes get are fun when you’re taking turns with someone and you call out body parts to hit. I know, sounds gruesome, but we are a Walking Dead kick lately.
