Great and does exactly what it says
We bought this just to speed things up when we forget to get things out the freezer. Other half was sceptical but it works just as described and we wouldn’t be without it now. Definitely recommend.

Perhaps slightly smaller and thinner than I expected but did i really want a thick heavy piece of metal?. Still big enough for probably 4 chicken breasts.It works that's all I can say. I have no idea how but my chicken breast defrosted super quick which is very useful for someone who only decides what they want to eat just before taking the dogs out.A useful addition in the kitchen and easy to store.

Much better than I thought!
I thought this would be a gimmick but it’s really not. Meat defrosts very quickly even through bags/plastic wrap. Does not work through Tupperware, probably won’t work through polystyrene meat trays.For best results as much of the frozen item as possible should have contact with the board. Flattening then item or turning it once it starts to defrost helps.

Thinner than I thought
Hard to tell when you purchase it from a photo, but I thought it was the same as my sisters, but unfortunately only similar.Much thinner quality and less effective, taking longer to thaw things
