100g/0.01g、1kg/0.1g LCD Digital Pocket Diamond Jewelry Gold Gram Balance Weight Scale Measuring Tools (50g/0.001g)

There seems to be many versions of this balance. All are great, except this one. DO NOT BUY this balance, if you use AmazonBasic rechargeable AAA batteries (any version be it black, white, green), as the batteries are slightly too long, I checked the Amazon batteries against a generic, and the Amazon battery is about 1/2 mm longer, just enough so the Amazon battery does not fit.If you use "regular" batteries, there should be no trouble. You will note I gave "5 stars" otherwise, as I have a number of versions of this balance. I have been using them in my field work for several years and find them excellent. BUT if the batteries do not fit, the balance is useless.

The main picture is misleading. It shows a calibration weight on the scale, but it doesn't include it in the package.

I would have returned it, no doubt! But it would have cost me more in gas to the UPS and back then it was worth. Now if it was easier to return like Walmart, it definitely would have gone back! Pure garbage. Calibrated once and wouldn't come close again

Really useful for small things, excellent for jewelry

Does the job reasonably for the price, but would recommend a higher end model if you actually need sensitivity at the scale of 0.01g. Sometimes, inexplicably, something that weighs, say, 2.25 grams will gradually 'lose mass', slipping by 0.01 g every handful of seconds. If I take that same mass off, tare the scale, and put it back again, I'll get a higher reading than when I took it off...

After inserting batteries, numbers just continued to fluctuate. Never even got a reading.
