Brilliant
Loved this book. Wacky and chaotic and laugh out loud funny. If you like Tom Sharpe then give Serge and Coleman a go

A fun read
What the hell just happened? The short answer was everything. Everything happened. All of the everything happened. Funny, fast paced with highly entertaining anti hero. The book loosely details Storms and his sidekick Coleman’s Florida crime and drug infested road trip, with some very colourful characters thrown in along the way. Intellectual highbrow, no. But entertaining as hell.

Not Hiaassen
I gave up after abot100 odd pps as I didn't care what happened to any of the one-dimensional characters on offer here.

A tweaking good book
Good satire, funny, bloody, irreverent. Cross between Karl Hiassen and Tarantino with a whole load of crystal thrown into the mix. Only negative comment is the lack of flow. It's impossible to put down this book and remember where you left off. The endless list if characters is confusing and the relentless speed of the book means it's difficult to remember what happened to whom and when.

Not Funny
A very central character who is a narcissist and not likeable. I was hoping for something similar to a Hiassen novel and the Florida description is great but the character, don’t believe the blurbs he is not someone you can like so why engage further.

Very sharp witty series
This is the start of a very sharp and witty series. It is a black comedy set in the state of Florida where you just go along for the ride with Serge a character who just gets rid of pests, Coleman a drug addict he met in prison and many more characters. It’s a rollercoaster of sex drugs and rock and roll just hold on tight.

Apart from wanting to holiday in Florida after reading it ...
Apart from wanting to holiday in Florida after reading it, the main story seems to (though amusing) meander through a rough plot with the two groups of character meeting in an unsatisfactory ending.
