No remote, NO Controlling colors.
Lights are awesome HOWEVER, there is no way to set the colors without the remote. Installed a couple a year ago, still working great. Getting ready to install the other 2 and forgot what I did with the remote. All it will do is flash through red, green and blue. Don't loose your remote :(

Very nice. Like the options!!
These lights are shining on the house and connected to my landscaping system. (12v) They work perfectly and have a great throw to them. We change the color depending on decoration/holiday or just keep it a yellowish color to shine against our brick exterior. Looks great. and have lasted thru many heavy rains and snow.Only thing that may bother some is splicing or connecting your own wires if need be if they will be more than 4 feet away from your power source. these are some small 22g Guage wires I believe. Ran 14g wire from my transformer to the lights to work with my system and that has been suitable. Some have complained about not being brought enough, so I measured I have the lights maybe 3 ft away from house directed up and towards walls. The light shines all the way up to the roof overhangs. No problem with light being too low. If lights are low though it's a good idea to check the voltage for the lights once you picked your connection to see if you lost power. My transformer has a high wattage capacity (600) and has multiple taps 12v to 15v. This was useful when connecting everything to ensure we didn't have voltage loss and dim lights. We chose 14g wires due to distance away from transformer. The further away your lights, the higher Guage wire you'll use generally. And if you have a multi tap transformer that also helps to make sure you're not losing as much power by way of quantity of light and distance.Altogether we have about 8 of these set up for over 2 years in lots of weather and still no issues

Not as durable as I had hoped
I bought this batch of 4 as spares for the ones I had installed last year as they crap out. Only one had failed, and I replaced it. Another one seems to be on the verge but it is still working. I noticed the screw heads that hold the exterior housing together had rusted a bit after a year in service. They are supposed to be weather-proof (or at least highly weather resistant) so I'd expected to just leave them in place year round. I didn't read anything in the documentation (of which there was very little) that recommended protecting them from any particular season. They are beautiful when they work.

Quite a bargain for their apparent quality - and brightness.
I have two columns on my back stairs that I wanted to light up - and these do a great job. The colors are bright and since I only needed 2, I got the 4 pack to have replacements. Good value and well made from what I can see.

Lights were dim, and the colors were not the expected spectrum
I bought this light set to provide some color display choices against my house around various holidays (red and green for Christmas, red and blue-I already had white- for Independence Day, etc.) I already had a low-voltage wiring set around my front yard, so I simply had to connect them to my existing wires. After I received the lights, before installing them outside, I did a test setup in my garage against the white surface on the inside of the garage door. The LED colors were not as expected. The primary colors were mostly a mix of colors. Red was mostly red, but the other colors were 'off'. Green was more whitish with a greenish hue, and there was no actual blue. Four of the color choices did not seem to have any difference between them when selected, most of the others were just strange. The brightness was a bit dim for my needs, with lighting only being apparent three to four feet up the white door. Some colors were barely noticeable as color. Also, after the light was on for a few minutes, the remote control stopped working. I did not investigate it heavily, but my impression was that the light warmed up enough that the embedded sensor in the corner behind the glass could no longer register the signal from the remote device because it was too warm.True color LEDs are possible, since i have some in another form factor that I use. Low-voltage lights like this are a good idea, if they worked as expected.

Nice but not great
Not bad, not great either. No way a 10 watt light. Decided to measure the power consumption thru all light levels on a fluke rms digital multimeter. What I measured was an average current of 150 ma, at 11 vdc. Barely a watt and a half doesn’t 10 watts make. Must be like audio power vs rms power. Just magic. Other than that, not bad, cheap but acceptable, just buy more than you think you’ll need as these are rather dim.

One of 4 lights does not go on.
Two stars as One of the lights does not turn on. Tried a new connector, ng. Tried with a 12v battery, ng. Have no idea how to get a replacement on one light. Do not want to pull up the other 3 and seal the wire. update: trimmed off 8 inches of the end, stripped the wire. Light now works. Changed to 4 stars only as I had to do fix with no reply from seller.
