SQR in PeopleSoft and Other Applications Second Edition: PeopleSoft v.8

This is the ultimate book for SQR. I've recently started a job as an HR associate software engineer and this is the main language in which I will be developing reports. This guide not only provides what is necessary to understand and apply SQR, but it accompanies all theory with many working examples. It even goes further by explaining many functionalities that are not commonly used. The sample database described is the core PeopleSoft HR database, which makes the examples provided ever more valuable. The Peoplesoft part is not bad, although I haven't read most of it and it look a bit outdated. The only thing I can say is since the publication of this book, the navigational menu changed slightly, but it's not to hard to understand how to get to where you need to go. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who needs to learn the said topics on the cover, It was not an expense, but an investment.

Good book for SQR

This is the best SQR book out there. It has great examples, and is very well laid out, so this book is great for beginners as well as seasoned app developers.

Great reference for anyone writing SQRs.

Malgrè le fait que ce livre soit écrit en anglais,il est simple a comprendre, et s'appui sur des exemples de codes auxquels nous sommes confrontés en tant que developpeur.Bref, ce livre est idéal pour comprendre comment fonctionne un SQR et commencer.Ce qui est tres utile pour reprendre un ancien SQR et l'optimiser.Cependant, ce livre ne vous explique pas comment installer un serveur SQR.Mais est bien plus lisible et facile a comprendre que le PeopleBoocks "SQR for PeopleSoft Developer's Guide"
