There are lots of electrolyte companies in Thailand as well as energy drinks--red Bull is from there. Originally all tied to the sport of Muay Thai they branched out to construction workers and the over weight tourist crowd.The ingredients are easy to source and Thailand has a large market space in country. The individual packages are sold for 4 or 5 baht. If you buy a box it's far cheaper per envelope. You should be aware that those selling 6 packs here are gouging like hell. Retail for 6 is one dollar USD or less if bought in a box. I wouldn't recommend paying anymore than that. As wholesale buyers they are doing a number on you.

I used to get these for ten cents in Thailand. That being said, these saved my life. I was getting so dehydrated I was peeing blood... These came in so clutch and absolutely without a doubt saved me. These are a great product, but maybe ask your local Asian food store to start stocking them for you, I'm sure they can get you a better deal.

just bought 6 in Chiang Mai for 7 baht per envelope (4 for less than $1). don't buy! its a rip off.

These go for retail at about 15-20 cents per package. They are charging $17 for 6 packages!!!!!
