Classic style with impressive craftsmanship
The Bulova Military Heritage Hack watch is a beautiful blend of vintage military design and modern reliability. The stainless steel case feels solid and well‑made, and the automatic movement runs smoothly with that satisfying sweep of the second hand. The dial is clean, easy to read, and has that timeless field‑watch look. The NATO leather strap is comfortable right away and adds to the rugged, authentic style. It’s the kind of watch that works for everyday wear but still feels special. A great choice for anyone who appreciates classic military‑inspired timepieces.

It’s a Field Watch
This watch has become steady in my rotation. No frills field watch. It’s light and comfortable to where. Easy to wind and very durable. Looks great with a pair of jeans and a tee shirt or a polo.

Nice, plain, simple watch.
I have been wearing this watch for about 3 weeks now. I like the history of the watch. I did not know that Bulova made watches for the military. I wanted an old school, no frills, vintage looking watch. Nothing blingy. Based on the history and look of this watch, I decided to buy it. At first I wasn't sure I was going to like it. Watching some reviews online, people have said it was a thick watch. I did not find that was an issue. It looks thick, but it doesn't feel thick when wearing it on your wrist. There is no date so you don't have to worry about setting that and getting it in sync for a specific date. You just set it on the time and you're good to go. The numbers are easy to read and easy on the eyes. I also like that feature that you can manually wind the watch. So if you decide you wanted to wear another watch, you don't have to put it on a watch winder. Just a few spins of the crown and it should keep it running for a couple days before you have to wind it again. Of course, you can just wear the watch and it would wind itself. Like most automatic watches, the time will be off a few seconds everyday. In this case the watch runs a little faster. No big worry. After a few days, just reset it or because of the name and history of the watch you can, "hack" it. So cool. I didn't like the watchband that came with the watch. I replaced it with a different leather band which felt more comfortable on the wrist instead of the NATO strap it came with. It just seemed a little bulky for me. It's all preference. I've already had some compliments on the watch. People commented that they liked the plain Jane look of the watch. Not flashy. Very conservative and vintage looking.

Great looking watch - looks better on a tan strap
It's a handsome automatic watch at a decent price. The size is great for my baby 6.25" wrists I didn't care for the included strap - too many metal buckles that get uncomfortable when typing at a desk and the like. Plus, a tan strap makes the dial look much nicer than the black it came with. The 18mm lug width does make finding new straps a bit of a challenge, but not impossible. Accuracy is OK - mine runs a little fast out of the box, but tolerable for an automatic. The lume on the hands is good, but just OK on the indices. My only real gripe is the crown. It's a beautiful signed crown, but it is a little sharp and it digs into my hand from time to time. The included strap helps as it keeps the watch a little elevated off the wrist, so a NATO strap may also help with this

Bulova Military Hack Watch with Ivory Face
Recently I was browsing watches and found that there was a family of vintage field watches which were designed to resemble timepieces worn by soldiers in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. I started researching the watches and found they were designed to be easily read, rugged and durable, and simple in design. The Bulova "hack" watch got my attention with its ivory face and simple design. Plus, the price was very reasonable for an automatic watch compared to some of the other watches in the market. When I looked up photos of the original vintage watches from the 1950's, a watch with an ivory face really appealed to me because my father was in the Korean War and many of these were distributed to the military personnel. I ordered the Bulova Military Heritage Hack Watch and it arrived the very next day. When I opened the box and saw the watch, I wasn't sure this was what I wanted. It had a plain, black leather strap and the design was simple and very easy to read. No clutter with a day/date feature and the only adjustment was to set the time and start wearing the watch after giving it a couple of winds. This is an automatic watch, so it winds itself when you wear the watch. After I put it on and took my dog for a walk, I became more sold on this watch. It was extremely comfortable and I hardly knew that I had it on. It was very easy to see the time and, from a deeper emotional level, it was nice to get back to an analog watch inspired by a great history. Sometimes it's good to take a step back from digital technology, look back at history, and rediscover some great brands that served our parents well ... and still have a place in this hectic world. "The more things change, the more they stay the same." I appreciate the quality of the Bulova Hack Watch and am extremely satisfied with my purchase.

I highly recommend this Bulova watch. It's my first Bulova and I am more impressed than I thought I would be, (which is a feeling not realized with most products these days). The hack feature allows for easy second hand synch, the dial is easy to read and the luminous parts seem to work well. The strap is very comfortable. The automatic jewel movement is easy to use and there's no worries about a battery that could fail. Like a black suit that works equally well at a party or a funeral, this watch looks great with casual wear or formal. It's a quality product that leaves you thinking you paid too little. I am not easy to impress, yet I am with this purchase.

The Bulova Field Watch combines a vintage design with a stylish look, featuring a nice leather strap and durable build. Its reliable automatic movement and luminescent markers add practicality, making it a great value for an affordable price.
