Easy to manipulate clippers
I ordered these clippers after they were reviewed in an article in the NY Times. My husband has a tremor and cannot clip his nails by himself. We were using another type of clippers and they seemed hard to manipulate. I took a chance on these clippers and am very happy with them. They are so easy to use. The design makes it easy for one to grasp and push down to clip fingernails. I highly recommend these!

I wish I could give it 10 stars!
I was so excited to get this. I broke my dominant arm and shattered my elbow. It’s at least 6 months to heal. I really needed my nails cut after two months. I’m used to being independent and it’s even more important at 65. I was getting ready to go to a nail salon but my arm still really hurts especially my wrist. So I was nervous to have anyone touch and hold my hand so I looked up nail clippers for challenged. Found this clipper. Works great! Got all my nails trimmed, all by myself, with very little pain! Bravo! Thanks so much for offering items that let us be independent and do for ourselves. It’s important. Very important. Easy to use, well made, delivered quickly, and easy to store. Highly recommend and will buy from this seller again with confidence. Cheers!

So Happy To Have This!!
The delivery time was Excellent! Packaging Excellent! Pricing is very reasonable. I ordered the wrong color, but that was my fault. The color isn't really that vital. I have arthritis and it's been So Difficult to cut my nails. On top of that my hand and toenails are thick. Have been all my life. Having hard nails I had always thought was a blessing. I rarely had nails just break off from being thin. When arthritis hit me, I felt hard nails was more of a curse. I was so excited when it was delivered today that I used it immediately! I Love It! My only problem is the "[NO MESS NAIL CATCHER] The body catches the nails, preventing them from scattering." Maybe I'm just not using them correctly. The clippers aren't catching the clippings. I wish I could go somewhere I find out what I'm doing wrong so the clippers will catch the clippings.

Almost perfect for me
It ships in rather nice packaging, which surprised me given the low price point. It's very easy and comfortable to hold. I bought it primarily because I suffer from Raynaud's Syndrome, making it very uncomfortable for me to touch cold objects, like metal. So the plastic outer portion of the clippers is great. The one feature I don't like is the fact that the plastic top of the clippers do not attach to the metal top of the clippers. I suppose this is because glue tends to wear away over time, and that would be the likely manner in which the metal hinge would be kept attached. So in order for me to get to the "filing" portion of the clippers (more on that in a second), I have to touch the metal lever and flip that up as well. The plastic cover just rotates without any effort, but the metal handle stays down unless you flip it up and back. The "filing" part of the device is an ellipsoidal surface (it's not a flat oval, it's rounded) that feels like it's covered with hundreds of tiny hooks or something. Very different from what I'm use to with "ordinary" clippers and the filing board that swings out. This surface is essentially sticky if you try to touch it–thus the sense that there's a ton of velcroish hooks there. Obviously, this isn't the case, as it does file fingernails very well, so it's not hooking anything by any means. Just a very odd-sensation for me–maybe this is what emory boards are like? In any case, in does it's job well. It doesn't cut as close as I'd like, but I'm probably in the vast majority with how short I like my nails. There often feels like "just a bit more" that I could clip off that the clippers can't get. But I think I'm just abnormal in that regard. This should satisfy most any user, I would imagine.

Disappointed
I did not find the opening of the clippers particularly wide. It was pretty much the same as regular clippers.

Great for my arthritic hands
These nail clippers have been a life saver for me. I have arthritis in my hands, but the worst is my left thumb, which makes pinching things nearly impossible. I can grasp the clippers in my hand and make use of my hand muscles to operate it, not giving my thumb much pain at all.

Best clippers out of all I've tried
If your thumb joints hurt as much as mine you should be using this

Nail clippers
These clippers are perfect for my fingernails. I have weak hands and with these, I just place the clippers at the edge of the table, hold them steady with my palm, insert my nail, and press down with my palm. No more waiting for someone to help me with this task! IMO, they’re just the right size for an adult with small to medium hands, but probably not useful for toenails. I would definitely buy these again.

I seldom write reviews but for anyone with severe arthritis in the hands, this is the best non electric product I have found. Thank you

After surgery on hand was unable to trim nails with the usual clipper. I was able to put nail clipper on table, put nail into clipper and depress the clipper with my forearm. Easy. Sat safely on base and no tipping up. Perfect!

I have arthritis and my son has motor skill issues due to autism. These are SO great. Easy for both of us to use. Note that it is the larger toenail clipper size in here, so I an hoping to find a smaller nail clipper size one for using on my younger kids. But for an adult woman and a tween boy it does the job well.

I have a partial paralysis of the right side; as I have grown weaker so I have found it impossible to cut the nails on my left hand. Clippers no longer meet my needs, but this is perfect. Its chunky design means I can bring the whole weight of my hand down, rather than just the thumb and index finger. Really happy.
