Would like larger cubes.

We bought these in 2020 and were concerned about comments related to the difficulty in removing the ice cubes, but purchased anyway. We had little difficulty in removing the cubes considering it is a large square mass of hard ice! So not as easy as popping out little ice cubes from a plastic tray, but worth the little bit of extra effort. Last month Jan 2021, we had to move our fridge into the dining room for kitchen remodeling, so we lost the refrigerator filtered water (which was used to fill trays). For drinking water, we purchased the local grocery's "purified water". Whoa - we could not get the ice cubes out of the tray, no matter how hard we tried! Literally needed to soak the tray in a hot water bath to release a cube. When we went to replenish our bottled water, we next purchased the grocery's "spring water". What a difference, the ice cubes were almost as easy to remove from the tray as when using our refrigerator filtered water. Last week the fridge was back in place and using the fridge filtered water again makes ice cube removal a (relative) breeze once again. So if you can't remove your cube from the tray, you might want to use a different water source.

So there's a whole bunch of reviews and say that the ice is hard to get out of these because there are too hard and stiff.. fake news!!!Here's an idea; Flip them over and put your thumb on the back side of the ice cube and push while holding the front with your fingers. It's flexible silicone and the ice cube pop right out!! I think people are trying to take the ice cubes out from the front, and of course it doesn't work. These are really nice durable ice cube makers and I highly recommend them! The ice cubes are nice and big and they last a long time without diluting your favorite alcoholic drink!!

Good overall. Needs a bit of effort to eject the ice cube but does exactly what it says in the tin

I have been using Round Ice molds. I believe it will be easier to extract the cubes from the trays. I have only used the tray one time so it may take a little practice. But still easier then the multi-piece round mold.

Bought this for my scotch but everyone uses this for all their beverages. Don’t hesitate just buy them.

Slightly tough to get ice out.

I love these molds. I really don't understand how people in other reviews have such a hard time getting the cubes out, the silicone can flex to push out the cubes. It's really easy.My biggest problem with these is the little white film that accumulates inside the bottom of the tray. I only use filtered bottled water, so it's not the water... And Ive never put them in the dishwasher. Handwashing seems to have no effect on getting rid of it... It's just something that you just have to live with.

total schade, ein Jahr und drei Monate haben wir diese Eiswürfelformen, genau die richtige Größe, das hat uns total gut gefallen. Eine der beiden hat verblüffender Weise einen ganz ganz schlimmen Kühltruhen Geruch angenommen der selbst durch waschen in der Spülmaschine nicht weggegangen ist, sondern tatsächlich wir die Form danach direkt weggeworfen haben und alles Geschirr nun noch mal spülen weil es diesen üblen Geruch beim Öffnen der Spülmaschine enenfalls angenommen hat. Wie gesagt total schade wir hatten recht lange Zeit unsere Freude damit und es schien ein hochwertiges Produkt, ich weiß auch nicht ob das normal ist bei diesen Formen aus Gummi.
