I ordered this thread due to positive feedback. However, just like any other product, it only works if it works for YOU! I am super pleased to report that this thread is awesome. I opened a spool wound a bobbin and immediately put this thread through it's paces. I pieced a quick quilt block (no problem there), then I free motion quilted that block. No issues whatsoever. Finally, I did a little more quilting with my walking foot. Once again I had no issues. The colors are beautiful, the thread is nice and strong, and best of all, it's a great bargain. Other reviews have mentioned that this thread produces more lint than is ideal. In my testing, I didn't find that to be the case. However, if it turns out that with longer use there is some lint, guess what? For the price, I can clean my machine a little more frequently! Very satisfied customer, who will be ordering more color sets. Thanks for a great product at a great price!!

I love the thread. I read all the reviews, and based on that ordered about 25 colors. I have used probably 8 to 10 of the spools and all have been great. No lint issues, or breaking. I am a quilter and use a lot of thread. The famous brand 40 wt that everyone loves is great but hard on the wallet. This thread is affordable, the colors are fantastic, vibrant, lovely and the quality of the threads I have used is terrific. I have no issues with this thread in my quilts, it works for piecing, FMQ and other projects beautifully. I will definitely order thread from this seller again.

4 stars only because I had a problem with one spool., It did not seem to unwind from the spool efficiently. It seemed to catch and would then break. This same spool did the same thing when I wound a bobbin. I used 3 other spools after the first and I had no problems. Needing to use that first color again, I still had a problem with the thread coming off the spool, so I suppose the problem was with just that spool of thread! I used this thread with my embroidery machine. I needed a cotton thread that mimics the look of crochet thread and not the shiny regular embroidery thread. This thread gives the look that I want for faux crochet on an embroidery machine. The colors are lovely and the thread is good quality. The price can't be beat!

I wasn't sure how well I would like this thread and had some problems using with my machine at first. The spool is too long to fit on my Viking Opal machines main spool holder but I found a separate spool holder near the bobbin winder that works well - I just need to remember which way to place the spool on the holder so that the thread flows off easily. I did have a problem getting the bobbin loaded and getting the machine threaded - I couldn't get the needle threader to work with this thread at all. I was frustrated but working with it I got through a learning curve and now we're good. I bought this thread several months ago and just finally got around to using it. I'm glad because I have my eye on several other sets of colors. I now feel confident I can go ahead and order more of this thread. I love the colors and it sewed well with no breaking and without the thread bunching up. So far, so good! I did order again - I ordered Old Glory and Shorline sets. I'm pretty happy with this thread. Considering the price and quality, I'm going to order more sets. I think the next ones will be neutrals, salt and pepper and possibly Fruit Salad. I find the colors vivid and I've had good luck with using it in my machine. I found I was at error for most of my problems and once I had the needle threader repaired, it works great! 8/2019 Fast forward 2 years and I'm still loving this thread. I think I have almost every color they make in the 100% cotton. I like it for almost all of my sewing projects but especially for my machine quilting. I've made about 7 quilts from baby to twin size and have had no problem with this thread.

I love having cotton thread for sewing projects. this is a good quality variety and size for sewing projects. great variety of color. I am able to sew items that would be used in microwave, or heat related. polyester thread doesn't do well for these projects. I loke this companies selection.
