Love this book!
This book is beautifully made/written and is going to work so well to incorporate outdoor activities into our homeschool curriculum. I was pleasantly surprised (when comparing to a few other nature activity books) that these activities are very age appropriate, surprisingly simple, but also really fun and engaging. They are so different too. I really like this book and it was well worth the cost.

Perfect for homeschool or nature lovers!
The media could not be loaded. I got this to use alongside my preschool curriculum for my 4 year old and 3 year old. It has tons of nature projects, crafts and information and facts to go along with each activity! It’s a must have for your homeschool shelf!

Fun activities to keep the kids outside
I purchased this book as I was looking for outdoor learning activities for my kids since they aren't in school. Lots of fun activities.

It’s fun and educational
This book is great for my nephew (8, 2nd grade) and niece (6, kindergarten.) I’m doing their school from home, and wanted an activity book that would get us outside exploring in an educational format. We did lots of nature field trips when I was in school, but in these pandemic ages, that just doesn’t happen. My nephew hates the traditional asynchronous homework and activities. He’s a smart kid, but homework and worksheets are just not his jam! He wants to be hands on and engaged, and I don’t blame him one bit. My niece likes homework, but still wants to be engaged outside of just homework. What I like about the book is the activities are sometimes science, sometimes art. They involve observation, collection of leaves and rocks, etc. There are year round activities too - things for winter, summer, etc. We recently did an experiment to see what floats and what doesn’t. We went for a long walk, collected pine cones, sticks, leaves, flowers, rocks, and brought them back to text what floats and what doesn’t, and then read the book’s explanation of why. If you have time to do this with your kids on the weekend, I think it’s fun, and I would recommend it.

Important Book to Awaken Child’s Interests
🌲❄️🐝I guess the best way I can begin the review is to say I just ordered four more lest they sell out before the holidays. There are activities for a whole range of ages. Even some that BIG brother or sister can proudly show younger siblings. The “experiments” are fascinating and not overly complicated and most only require things readily available. The way Nature is integrated is brilliant. Some are adult involved and others certainly within the ability of a whole range of children. Bet some kids will be setting down their devices after trying a couple mini projects and running outdoors. They even teach them about things to avoid outside in a clear gentle way (poison ivy, etc.). Definitely a new parent or grandparent gift too — to get them thinking about how they will be raising their kids and grandkids with a love of Nature.

Best book for exploring with preschoolers!
This book is by far the best we’ve used for exploring with a preschooler. So many neat prompts, crafts, and easy-to-follow facts! Excellent on Kindle for portability but paperback is awesome for hands-on with kids as well as for gifting to your favorite adventurous kids.
