Highly recommended for DIY. Save a ton of money.
This worked beautifully on 100-year-old hardwood flooring that had been covered by carpet for decades. We used YouTube for recommended cleaners. It was a mess and turned out better than expected. Very easy to use, even for this 75-year-old woman LOL. Excellent build quality, this should last a long time. Nice design for comfortable ergonomics. Easy cleanup when job is completed.

Scrubs well and seems well built
Searched several options for a floor scrubber. Even contemplated renting. Finally decided on this scrubber. My primary concerns were the ability of the scrubber to do the job and reliability. I have about 1800 sq ft of ceramic tile that needed a good scrubbing. The scrubber exceeded my expectations. I used the Zep floor cleaner at 1oz per gallon of water. Just poured some on the floor and started scrubbing. It not only cleaned the floor of several years of accumulated crap up in the master bath, it also cleaned a couple of years of grease and grime from the kitchen/family room areas. Key is using lots of cleaner and going over the same area a couple of passes. You literally need the floor covered in cleaner and use the scrubber to move it around and pass over each area multiple times. Doing it that way it even got most of the grout clean. Next scrubbing those will probably clean also. By lots of cleaner I used 3 gallons of water and 3 oz of Zep for the entire 1800sq ft! Not sure which is the better buy. The scrubber or the Zep! So this little scrubber is very capable of cleaning most home floors. As far as reliability I'll only know for certain many years from now, hopefully! But even though it uses plastic wheels and maybe even gears I've been around for over 60 years and frankly all of those machines made out of "iron" were not that good. The old days were never as good as we remember them. This scrubber seems to be well built for what it's intended. Home use. If it lasts long enough to clean the tile this well ever year for the next ten years I'll be happy. If it lasts twenty years then I'll be more than happy and more than 80 years old! Beats the hell out of the old days of actually scrubbing floors!

Better than getting on my hands and knees and scrubbing the floor myself
I purchase this Bissell Big Green "Commercial" floor scrubbing machine as part of an open-box Amazon Warehouse deal. Box arrive in pretty bad shape, but looks like all the parts arrived in it, at least all the parts I cared about. PROS Machine was pretty straight forward to put together, didn't need the instruction manual at all for assembly. Machine is also quite light weight, so getting out of the box and assembled was an effortless task. I opted for the tank-less one because I use to have the old one with the tank, and I wasn't impressed with it back then, and didn't see the need to spend more $$$ for the tank version.. Simple spray bottle with cleaning solution was all that I needed. CONS - I used it this morning to give the tiles around the house a good scrubbing, and for the most part, the machine did a decent enough job scrubbing the floor. I say for the most part, because the machine being light weight, there's wasn't a lot of download pressure being applying on the scrubbing brushes during operation. This resulted in the machine taking a bit longer to clean up an extra dirty spot. - Brushes did a decent job on flat surfaces, but struggled to get in between the tiles and clean the grout. I didn't expect the machine to do it in the first place, but I was secretly hoping that it might. That's not to say it didn't clean some of the grout, but the ones it was able to reach, were sections in the tile floor where the grout was more flushed with the surface. - There's review on here that comments on the machines longevity, I'll try to remember to update this post if something to it in the next couple months. The old Bissell scrubber I had years ago lasted about 2 years before it went kerplunk, we'll see how long this one will last. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase as the floor needed a good scrubbing and I didn't want to get on my hands and knees to do the work myself. It's not a true commercial floor scrubber, but it still decent enough that I would recommend it to others with similar needs.

When you want to find out what your Swiffer Mop leaves behind
This is a very capable small scrubber. The interchangeable heads are all there. Use this when you want to actually clean rather than spray and wipe. The follow up mop water will show you what you've been missing. The scrub heads are effective on grout. It is ideal to polish old school wax surfacing too.

Totally uncontrollable machine
I couldn't give it less than one star or I would have This machine is going back. I used for at least 20 extremely frustrating minutes to oil a floor until it over heated and wouldn't turn back on. Despite what the directions tell you, you will not be able to walk a zig zag pattern with a 1meter by 1 meter square. It won't happen. This machine generally wants to go wherever it puts its mind to it. You can try keeping it level but it will sneak away on you and smack into the wall. Also bc its so light and has a tendency to fire off in arbitrary directions (mostly to the left) it will also spray the oil that you are trying to apply to the floor all over the wall. Do not buy this. I would not wish this machine on people that I don't like. In all seriousness, I get what Bissell was trying to accomplish. I ended up putting this back in the box, running to the big box hardware store and renting a 20" floor finisher/waxer and using that for the second coat after the little Bissell that couldn't failed me 1/10th of the way thru the first coat so I had to apply by hand. The big machine weighs a ton, can be equally hard to control, but also bc it has significant weight it's easier to find that sweet spot balance point so it doesn't spin around you in some crazy death dance. So please, until Bissell turns down the power or adds some weights, or something, don't buy this machine. It's low price and compact cuteness will just disappoint you
