Awesome level! Very not easily to dent. Description of this level just mentioned about 1% and 2 % for grade but it similar to 1/8 and 1/4. Strongly recommend to buy it

This is the only level I will use anymore. I’m a union Pipefitter and use this level daily. This thing is bomb proof. The magnet is stealth strong, I just wish there were two of the evenly spaced out. I can always find it because it is yellow. It has always been accurate even after big drops. It is expensive but I would buy it every time because for me the performance is worth it.

Stabila makes high quality levels with good quality control. Also love that the cover over the bubble is square and easy to keep clean. Most levels are round and when they get dirty you can’t see the bubble and are a pain to fish a piece of fabric in there to try and wipe it. I only wish that Stabila made a level with a flat top so you could flip it over and not use the magnet. But that’s a menial complaint.

I use this level for welding pipe. The magnets are strong and really hold. I use my combination square and this torpedo level for accurate work. If you are a “that will be good enough” guy then don’t buy this tool. If your a perfectionist then this is the level to buy.

Great level with excellent magnets should last for a long time

This is a nice accurate level that could be made better by simply making the bubble slightly bigger. There is a little too much space between the bubbles and the lines on the level making it take more time than nessesary to find accurate level and plumb. And I work in Arizona which makes the problem worse because when it's hot (115 degrees) the liquid expands and the bubble gets even smaller. The grove at the base is fine but the magnet isn't strong enough. Not that it doesnt hold on a verticle surface but if bumped it will fall off. They should have put two magnets in the base.

Gift for a first time homeowner. Should last a lifetime.

Love this level! I work in trades building machines, travelling a lot so my tools get borrowed, banged up, and dropped. I make do with some cheaper tools because of this, but discovered I needed a good level that can stand up to a little abuse and still be accurate. I’ve used many torpedo levels of all makes, some pricier than others. Before this one I had a Starrett which I thought would be great it being a quality brand, however was actually cheap and broke apart after minimal use, not sure how accurate a glued together level is! The Stabila is SOLID. The magnet feels just right to me, the Starrett magnet sucked and an expensive Milwaukee one I had was too strong for some applications (checking shim heights). Nice the Stabila has just has one strong magnet in the middle so you can lift the sides up easy for measurements. Nice machined surface on the bottom opposed to a piece of extruded or unfinished die cast aluminum like others and the bubbles are clear and easy to read, and stays as one bubble! Up against some co-workers levels, this level quickly became the favorite to use on the job. I don’t worry about paint chips and scratches I expect them. This is a professional level, built for professionals. If you want a fancy looking one to level your new wall mounted 35.6K HD TV in your Minecraft dungeon, while putting baby powder into your groomed hair so you look dusty and can post on your instagram how hard you are to impress your followers, this level is not for you.

Sometimes I put this on top of my husband's head just to make sure he still level-headed it's almost always accurate
