Amazon Basics PLA 3D Printer Filament, 1.75 mm, Glow, 1 kg Spool

This PLA definitely not for beginners! The quality is awful.Very difficult to print with, it won't stick to your plate and it will clog quite easily.Here is what I did I hope it helps others:Change the default 0.4mm nozzle to a bigger one to avoid clogging, I personally used 1.0mm.Slow down your print a bit I went from 80mm/s to 60mm/s.Increase heat, just add +5 to your regular PLA print temperature.Apply blue tape AND gluestick on your plate.With these settings, I managed to print eventually but it was a rocky road.Printed 8 lamps for the attic they do glow in the dark which is great.

I purchased this product 2 years ago, had it stored for a while. Started printing the TREX on thingie verse as this is glow in the dark. It has nice bone white colour. I had one more part to print and ran out of this PLA. So I bought another one that turned up yesterday. It looks like they completely changed the batch. Its no longer white is colour, its pretty much transparent clear and completely different to my other Amazon Glow PLA print. The only way forward is to purchase another one and hope to get the same batch and reprint the entire dinosaur. What a waste of time, shall rather buy another manufacturer.

Bought 2 rolls of Amazon basics PLA - first one was bad, so returned this as well.

Very abrasive, doesn't print very well

This filament runs incredibly well, even when it has been exposed to moisture, and the glow is similar in brightness to most injection molded plastics.I bought a reel that had been returned by someone , whilst brittle when it arrived it ran better than my other filaments out of my Prussia I3, and didn't suffer from then typical issue of water boiling in the filament when not kept in a dry environment.If you don't use your printer that often, or you don't have a dry box this may be the filament for you.
