So I have a Herman Miller Aeron chair from my old office, must be 15+ years old. Quality chair, everything still works perfectly, even the original casters. Thing is, bringing it home during stay-in-place due to Covid, I had tried to vaccuum the dust under my chair, and it wasn't going away -- turns out, it wasn't dust, but little tiny scratches from the casters. Suck. So, I gambled on these casters. First of all, direct fit. They do raise the height a little, but who cares. Lower your seat by the extra inch or so. 1) No more marred floors. That's the biggest plus, and solved the original problem. 2) Holy crap, these things glide for days! If I push myself away from my desk, I just keep gliding across my office and have to stop myself. The casters are that smooth. Impressed. 3) Super quiet! Have had other office chairs before the Herman Miller as well and they, along with the HM, were noisy. This material is super quiet. Can slide around on a Zoom call, or late at night, and nobody will hear you. It's really, really quiet. 4) Quality is awesome. No signs of any wear or tear at all on the wheels. Even if it does break somehow in teh future, I'm definitely ordering another set.

I thought about taking a video showing how a little push has it gliding across the floor till hits something, but then I got lazy. It's so smooth, nothing like the old ones I had (which had gotten quite full of hair and would not move or even turn in the right direction for rolling), it just effortlessly moves and keeps going. I have to readjust my habits to not push too hard (the old wheels meant I was just dragging it). It's like I went from -2 to +2. Also very easy to put on, just put the chair on its back, pull off old ones, push on new ones. Unrelated to the wheels, putting the chair on its back dropped a bunch of black mystery dust from the old chair on the floor which was hard to clean up, so I might have done it outside or put something under it if I knew (but that's not the wheels' fault, just old chair things I guess).

I bought a set of these same wheels nearly four years ago and those wheels are still looking and behaving like new. Still strong, smooth, and limber. Now I'm buying four sets to upgrade my dining chairs. One thing to note is that they will raise the height of the chair by about 2 inches, so keep that in mind.

I purchased these for my Herman Miller Aeron office chair when I started working from home about three years ago. The chair is almost 20 years old and when I brought it home I was worried that the original rigid plastic wheels would scratch my hardwood floor. So, I chose to replace them with these. I made the right choice. I LOVE THEM! I can’t quite explain how different they feel, but it’s like they have a very slight give that the rigid ones didn’t. It just seems more comfortable, especially when rolling. They handle the hardwood floor with ease and leave absolutely no marks. But my favorite thing about them is the reduced noise when I move. They are whisper quiet! Perfect for when I’m in Teams or Zoom meetings. Replacing the wheels was easy as pie; took less than five minutes. I would buy these again in a heartbeat, but I can tell they will last the lifetime of the chair so I won’t have to.

The wheels were very easy to install, just popped off the old ones and popped on these ones. It made my chair very quiet when rolling and I don't have to worry about scratches on my hardwood floors, however, there are a few things I wish I had known before buying. First, these new wheels unexpectedly raised my chair a few inches in height, so now my thighs are flush against the bottom of my keyboard drawer on my desk, making it very hard to work comfortably. I'm going to have to raise my desk, get a new desk that will fit, or go back to the old wheels... none of which are options I'm excited about. Also, if your floor is even remotely unlevel, your chair is gonna roll and it will roll often. The second I stand up (even if I don't push back against the chair to stand), my chair slides backward and hits the wall behind me. If I'm not centered directly in front of my desk, I will start rolling sideways in the direction my floor is slightly slanted without any prompting. Now, my floor is BARELY uneven—I'm talking about maybe a millimeter of a slant—and it's doing this, so these wheels must have little to no friction with the ground. I want to take it on the highway to see how fast I can get the chair going before they fall off, but I'm being told by my husband that it's a silly idea. We'll see.

I purchased two sets of these casters in separate orders for two home office chairs we have. The prior plastic OEM casters were terrible. They were frozen and just scraped the chair mat. The stems on the new casters were easy to install in a few minutes. They continue to roll very freely from over 3.5 years of nearly daily use. I have not had to worry about any ball bearings spilling out. They are well-made and worth the purchase price.

Chrome arms, slick as a Monaco roadster. Polyurethane so translucent I mistook them, for a brief and humbling moment, as frozen ice medallions from the future. I installed them barefoot. Reverently. They fit perfectly. These are not chair casters. These are the cufflinks of locomotion. A silent and elegant glide across space and schedule. The struggle against the tile is over. Victory is silent, sturdy, smooth, functional, and chrome-plated. Recommended.

En verdad me fascinaron, excelente calidad de los materiales, muy buen precio, facilísimo de instalar, super resistentes, metálicas y las ruedas son muy suaves, silenciosas y se siente que van a durar muchos años. Más fáciles de limpiar los pelos de mascotas. Subí unas fotos de las ruedas de plástico que cambié. Inmediatamente compré otro juego de ruedas para otra silla que tengo.

Çok çok memnun kaldım, alt ayak aldım aslında 5cm daha kısa olduğu için dengede sıkıntı oluyordu, fakat bu tekerlek seti hem denge getirdi hem de halı üzerinde bile çok rahat aktığı için, koltuğun o hantallığı bitti gitti, alacak olanlar pişman olmaz.

Se sienten de buena calidad, no resbalan tanto como las de plástico duro (las uso en piso laminado) lo cual el bueno pues tienes más control aunque si te quieres mover rápido pierdes un poquito, pero no maltratan el piso y se sienten confiables y eso es lo que cuenta, respecto al producto venia un poco maltratado y esto se debe a que su origen es Hong Kong y en el transporte las ruedas llegan a raspar entre ellas y se cae un poco la pintura, esto se podria solucionar poniendo un carton entre cada ruedita o un simple papel, pero no afecta la funcionalidad pues no venian abolladas, por eso bajaria la calificación a 4.5 ó 4 pero por el simple hecho del precio y el beneficio mantengo las 5 estrellas. En conclusión Muy buen producto! Si tienen una steelcase, estas rueditas ayudan a elevar la base y por consiguiente la altura del pistón poco más de 1cm del piso por lo que es un beneficio extra :D
