3/8 inch Black Polyester Bungee/Shock Cord - 100 Foot Spool | Marine Grade - High UV and Abrasion Resistance

I purchased 100 feet of 3/8 inch shock cord to replace my worn out rebounder trampoline bands. This was the best price, $45 for 100 feet is an amazing value, at least $15 cheaper than anything else I found for similar quality. In fact, similar comparable products were actually lesser quality and more expensive. This is serious bungee cord, that takes some strength to stretch. I think it's going to last a long long time and I would recommend it for any purpose. Unrelated I have a jump sport rebounder and I didn't want to pay $90 plus shipping to replace them. Using this quality nylon rope shock cord, I made thirty bands with each band 3 feet long, which meant that 100 feet was the perfect length. I sealed the cut ends with a lighter. This took 2-3 hours of work on my part. Turns out these cords are way stronger than what I had initially so the jump pad was stiffer than I liked (I'm under 150 pounds). I ended up keeping half the old bands on to get a softer bounce. If I were to do it again, I'd buy 1/4 inch thick cord. However, I have enough length on the spool such that I won't have to do this for maybe a decade.

work very well

I use this bungee for a variety of things, but primarily for keeping everything functional on my kayaks. The intense Florida sunshine/UV eats bungees and other rubber products for breakfast so they weaken/break every time you turn around. Having access to bulk purchase of these bungees is an excellent deal. I expect these replacements to last nicely and perform well on my Hobie kayaks.

Seems strong, we will see if it hold up to the environment. I’m using it to secure the doors on my lobster traps. That will be a pretty good test.

I purchased a different brand and it wasn’t very UV tolerant. These appear to tolerate the sun a lot better.

High quality. It is a secret as to what it might all be is used for. But for fastening tarps is for sure.

We use this bungee cord to create a grid over our indoor pool. This keeps our pool cover taut over the winter. The cord has a lot of stretch and feels sturdy.

I bought this to use a my boat rub rail replacement, it used to be nylon rope but it got old and start to cut the line so i bought the cord pulled it tight pounded it in and with in an hour my new great looking rub rail was installed. Worked perfectly. Great product with many uses.

I am setting it up with a block and tackle system for a 180' Dingy retrieval system to the dock.
