I picked up this brush set for some recent home decorating, and I’ve been really impressed with the quality for the price. I wanted a budget set of brushes for a recent decorating job. It was one of those tasks that might ruin the brush, so I didn't want to pay a load of money, but I did still want a brush that wouldn't ruin the finish. Harris is a brand I know and trust, so I chose this mixed set. I have to say, I've been pleasantly surprised by the quality of these brushes, and they gave me more than I was hoping for. The brushes are nice and soft, with accurately cut, fine nylon bristles that do not shed. They give me a good flat finish and are easy to work with. They are not the finest paint brushes money can buy obviously, but at the price being asked (around a fiver for the set when I purchased them) they do represent excellent value for money. They outperform brushes that cost far more, in my opinion, and for most decorating tasks around the home, they are perfectly adequate. I recommend them.

Excellent value paint brushes. Very nice synthetic bristles with no bristle loss during use. Gave a great finish using water based paints and wood stains. Easy to clean with Soapy water and look almost new again. I am very happy with the quality and value of this 5 brush set and would highly recommend these over any unknown brand brushes. I'm very fussy when it comes to brushes! These are super soft and used for oiling a handrail. Can't fault them, did the job perfectly.

Fine for little jobs but I don’t think the quality is as good as brushes that you would spend a bit more on. Anyway, they were perfectly good for the job I intended for them - painting in a cupboard. Only one bristle came out which isn’t bad considering the price.
