Exam Links Not Found On Line
None of the exam links can be found as directed inside the book. So far, a waste of my money.

Was worth the price.
Used to practice for the PreACT. My daughter said it was useful.

It's a rather thin intro guide to the ACT / Pre-ACT with only 1 practice exam: the April 2018 ACT.
I'm a Harvard grad, ACT perfect 36 scorer, test preparation expert, and private ACT tutor since 2002, as well as the founder of the r/SATACTprep subreddit, with over 3,000 subscribers and growing (and over one million pageviews per year). For $22, The Official Beginner's Guide for ACT 2020-2021 is a little thin, and is overpriced for only having one practice exam--it's basically a brief intro to the ACT, followed by a single paper ACT practice test. The practice exam (Form20MC7) is the same as the April 2018 ACT Form A09.Purchase of this book also comes with free access to a Pre-ACT online practice exam, but unfortunately it is not a new exam: it is Form 17A, which has been available online for approximately the last 2 years. For more information, including my personal ACT prep recommendations and recommended ACT book list on Amazon, google "ACT Action Plan - McElroy Tutoring."Best of luck on your ACT and beyond,-Brian

Awesome for my daughter!
I got this for my daughter who is in 9th grade but really wanted to learn more about the test and get a feel for it. We liked it because it included everything we needed to know about section retesting and superscoring. My daughter liked taking the diagnostic test online, especially since ACT is going to be offering the test online. It also meant that she instantly got her diagnostic score results. My older daughter had the "big red book" when she was in high school, but my 9th grader didn't need something that comprehensive yet. This is perfect for her and kids in her boat who want to think ahead early.. It got her feet wet with the material, helped her build confidence, and also helped me understand the real deal about superscoring.

One test, nothing new
Waste of money!! I am a tutor and have been teaching test prep for a decade. Book consists of one practice test. Spend $2 more and get 5 test in the big red book.

It is not a review book or teaching book.
This is only a work book no explanations or review or anything like that.
