Easy to use and works!
The flex bar is easy to use, and is helping with my pain. My Physical therapist suggested one for home use to help with grip strength and elbow pain. It is durable and I can already tell a difference with hands and elbow. Great value!

Good quality exerciser. Great for Building Hand/Wrist Strength.
This comes recommended by my OT for building hand/wrist strength post surgery. It is easy to grasp firmly to execute strength-building exercises. Good value, too.

Exactly what was needed for Physical Therapy on wrists
Not much to this but it was very beneficial in my wife's physical therapy. She uses this to strengthen her wrists after surgery and it offers about the perfect resistance. Simply stated: it does what it is supposed to do. She can use this sitting in a chair, watching TV.

Big improvement in tennis elbow after about 6 weeks
After 6 weeks of physical therapy appointments and dutifully doing the home exercise routine and stretches for tennis elbow with no improvement, I found a New York Times article that reported very impressive results from a study of people with tennis elbow using this device to do an exercise called a "Tyler twist," and decided to try it. I chose the red one and it seems to have been the right option for me, a moderately active young woman. The manual that comes with it pretty clearly explains how to do the exercise the Times article mentions. I've been doing 3 sets of 15 daily for the last two months or so, and while my tennis elbow is not cured, my pain has decreased dramatically. Now I can't definitively attribute the improvement to this exercise, maybe it was just a coincidence. The orthopedist told me there's basically nothing you can do about tennis elbow but wait, so either he's wrong and this thing is miraculous, or it was just my elbow's time to feel better. At $15 I'm not losing sleep over the uncertainty. Update: a few months later, I am totally cured. Hurray!

To strengthen wrists
My physical therapist recommended this. I use it every night for a couple minutes with exercises he gave me. It strengthened my forearms. No more wrist discomfort.

I bought this product because I have a long term elbow/forearm strain injury that I could not seem to heal from (I’ve had it for about five years). After using the flexbar for about three months, I have started to feel noticeable improvement. There are plenty of video tutorials online that show you how to get the best from it, and once you work out which exercises to use you will soon feel the benefit.
