Classic Alcohol Markers, 72pc Set A (Discontinued Model: EAN 4511338002230)

This is the best purchase I made for my illustration career. I watched a how-to video with one of my favorite comic book artists and the way he used these Copic markers was unbelievable. After practicing a lot with these makers I started selling sketch card art using these markers and Comic Artist Sketch Cards. I have made so much money with these markers. The best quality alcohol markers. They blend easily to other colors giving you thousands of color possibilities. The two different tip sizes makes it easy to use. The best value for your money. I use them for comic art.

I’ve been pining for these for years now; as a professional illustrator myself, I’d customarily divvy away from marker usage in favor of Prisma color pencils to achieve my desired look/effect. But I when I originally came across these, I thought they may be a game -changer, but put off buying then due to the expense. But I finally took the leap, and my god, they were better than I thought they’d be. Mind you, I fast-purchased these and didn’t realize that this set does not come with the brush-ended tips like I thought; I didn’t notice until afterwards. But I decided to give it a chance anyways; I really liked the color palette in this set over the one that does come with brush-ended tips in Set B. This set comes with broad-tip, and fine-tip, and I have to say I think that really worked out for me in the end. My work is very detail-oriented, so that makes the process much easier for me than a brush-tip would. I also purchased a smaller set (COPIC Ciao: Skin Tones) from a different vendor, which do come in brush-tips, so I do have variety and exposure to both experiences. Some might find it more difficult to blend with the fine-tips, but I personally found that I feel like I have more control blending with them. Brush-nibs would probably be a better blending tool for larger areas on a sheet of paper, but I find the broad-tips work fine for those situations as well (despite unpopular belief LOL). Definitely a dream-come true to be able to get these; the quality of my art is cleaner, and gets done faster as well! Plus, one of my favorite illustrators (Amanda Olleander) uses this set as well, I came to notice, and that makes my rash decision to get this set all the better to me!

These markers were great. None of them are dried out, the case was in amazing condition, and everything was perfect. I received them as a Christmas present, and I couldn't be happier. The markers are very pigmented and nice, and I can make great art now with them. I wouldn't recommend it to beginner artists- these take quite a lot of skill and practice to be able to master use. It's hard to use if you've just started art. It's much easier if you've been practicing art for a while now. Overall, I think that these markers are great. I'm love using them. I'll update the review if anything happens with the product.

Absolutely love these! I'm sort of a novice- I love to draw, but I had never worked with copics before. They are very smooth, and fill in very well. I've had them for about two months now, and they are the bomb diggity. Excellent for cartooning, awesome for everything. (I was a little worried whether or not I'd be worthy of such an expensive and fantastic marker set, but I've learned that it's okay, making art makes me happy even if the markers are better than my skill! Buy them!!)

I've used Prismacolor markers all through school and later on in life as well, and they have been great. At one point, they had the fine nibs on them and they were terrible. The Copic brush tips are amazing. Very smooth and consistent ink flow and streak free when it dries. These were pricey but worth every penny.

This product arrived on time and in perfect condition. It was exactly as advertised. The seller kept me informed as to shipping progress. I do not need the beautiful plastic box it came it, but I'm keeping it for future use. It is good, strong plastic, and I'm sure I'll find a use for it. I was surprised at the quality given other reviews I'd read. This is a standard Copic Assortment A, which is a nice basic assortment. I've added to it a bit, but not extensively, to make it more useful to me.

My grandson really enjoys drawing. I had purchased these for him to draw with. The result in his work with this product is worth the price. This set of Copics comes with a variety of amazing and colorful markers. These markers are especially good for shading and details in drawing. I would highly recommend this product.

The reason I’m only giving this one star is because I made the mistake of not looking at these closely enough. This comes with a broad tip nib and a fine point nib. THESE DO NOT HAVE BRUSH NIBS!! If that’s what you want, do NOT BUY THESE! They work just fine I guess? But the broad nib is way too big and the fine tip is way too small. Don’t be like me and get all excited and buy right away. Know that these do not have brush tips!

Markers are astronomically priced considering they won’t last forever. They are a good product but not as easy to blend as they are portrayed to be. Will definitely need to buy additional markers to fill in the hues and shades between the color palette to blend more subtly. Overall, quality markers if you can invest.

Considerations aside - these are the BEST marker sets you can purchase and for best results I find the combined use with the Copic paper makes for a better image - Like any of you reading the reviews I was concerned about the purchase of these due to the initial expense. My daughter is heavily into graphic art and had seen these used by professionals. She is due to start her A-Levels and wanted to support her work going forward so I took the plunge. The expense is justified these are defiantly not for people to scribble with they are a professional tool and I would recommended that anyone considering purchasing these ensure this is suitable for their intended medium before proceeding. However it is worth noting for the more serious user that like any valued tool this is an investment and it should be recognised that these are refillable and reusable with replacement nibs available etc - knowing that these will have a service life of several years does dull the pain of the initial outlay.

Hat super gut geklappt und bin bestens zufrieden. Besonders der Preis ist fantastisch. Ich bin Design Studentin und brauche die Copics für Sketches. Normalerweise kostet so ein Paket bei uns in der Schweiz mehr als 600 Franken. Bin somit sehr begeistert und die Lieferung kam super schnell. Kann ich allen weiter empfehlen die gerne Zeichnen und Skizzieren.
