I recently installed this Flowmaster Super 44 on my 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab, along with a K&N 63 air box. These 2 items really wakes up the Hemi and the sound is great to say the least.The best part of this muffler is that you can cruise around town with a deep mellow sound (you'll get a few looks)..... on my truck there is a 8 speed trans with quick shift points so when you punch that pedal it's like all hell brakes loose very loud. ( one comparison from mild manner Clark Kent to Superman....hahaha) people will turn there heads. Also the cabin noise is a little louder than stock nothing too dramatic. Performance seems to be better haven't drove in ECO mode that much but averaging still around 21.7 city /highway combined. Highway is about 24.8 mpg and that is keeping the speed limit of 65 mph.I watched all the videos on these mufflers on YouTube and they do the mufflers no justice. They are great at the price around $80 you can't go wrong....Buy These now!Please note you'll have to purchase a 3"x18"pipe and have a mig welder handy to make up the difference in length or better yet have the muffler shop put them on it's a quick job for them and we'll worth the $100+installation charge.

Bought this muffler to replace the super 50 muffler that came with the cat back system for my 2001 dodge ram 1500. At first I was really happy with the flowmaster rumble over the old stock muffler, but I quickly wanted more. Having trouble deciding which one to upgrade to, I chose the 2nd loudest flowmaster has.Unfortunately I am sad to say this muffler is not that loud or obnoxious like I thought it may be. I will not go to the super 10, since that's just nuts! So after driving my pickup with the super 44 awhile, I think it's just about right. Idle on the dodge is just not loud at all, but if you get on the throttle it definitely roars!So in conclusion I will admit I am pretty happy with the super 44 overall, and I'll keep it and learn to love it. It will probably never rumble quite like my 95 z28 with the 80 series flowmaster.

I first was uncertain of buying a flowmaster muffler over other brands. When i got the muffler i noticed on the box it has a limited lifetime warranty which is a big plus. I was also quite pleased with the sound i didnt want anything overly loud for daily use on my truck but it sounds great when you get on it. Ive heard from people when these mufflers break in there louder. I am happy with the quality and sound havent noticed any difference in hp or acceleration yet. I installed this muffler on a one owner 97 sierra pickup with a 350 before i bought it i cruised through you tube videos to see what they sound like the super 44 is louder than the 40. Havent lost mpg installing it either getting almost 20 on the hwy still used to be 17-18 so maybe a increase. If you want a clean nice sound out of your truck but not disgustingly loud and bad on back pressure this is it.

Not as aggressive as I was hoping it lower than I wanted but it's got a great sound and has held up so far !

Swapped out the stock muffler for this bad boy on my 4.8 Silverado and couldn’t be happier. This muffler is perfect for a daily driver; loud when you want it to be without being obnoxious like straight pipes would. Its quite loud on a cold start but mellows out considerably once the engine warms up and the revs drop. Likewise, its very quiet at low RPM highway cruising speeds, until you stomp on the gas to pass someone up and hear that beautiful V8 roar to life! If you want the loudest, most obnoxious muffler out there, then this one isn’t for you. Look at a Super 10 or Cherrybomb Extreme. But if you want something more practical, then look no further!

You can't beat the deep rumble of a Flowmaster. I Installed it myself on a 2011 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi. It definitely makes a Hemi sound like it should. I have seen some reviews about slight drone in the cab, I can hear it a little in town when it goes in and out of "ECO mode" but it is barely noticeable over the roar of mud tires anyway. It will not be a direct fit on a Ram because the Flowmaster is a lot shorter than that massive muffler Dodge put on to quiet that beast. A foot of 3" exhaust pipe from the parts store trimmed to fit got her in there and a slight amount of adjustment on the back pipes got it all back in line to match up to factory fit and finish.

The media could not be loaded. Installed this on a 2017 Silverado, 5.3L V8. Much nicer looking to have dual exhaust on that truck instead of the single pipe. I also had the resonator removed for this install. Check out the video to see what it sounds like. Much more aggressive sound now but not TOO much. Little to no drone when switches to V4 on the highway. Very happy with this purchase. Made the decision after watching video after video on YouTube.

I installed the flowmaster super 44 to my 95 Mitsubishi 3000gt, and so far its been a great muffler. It increased throttle response,giving my car more air flow. I took out the stock muffler and resonator, it gives my car a deep sound, especially in lower rpm, and when an idle. In the freeway the sound is perfect. when in high rpm the sound is not to loud, so you can have a pleasant drive,and still, have a conversation inside the car. I would highly recommend this flowmaster to anyone who would like to give a deep sound to your vehicle.
