It took two tries to get it to sync with the AC, but after pressing and holding the power button for 10 seconds, AC turned on and functions worked. The only instructions are the ones on the back of the remote for getting the remote to sync with the AC unit. Directions for switching from C to F are also on the back. That's it for remote instructions. 2 AAA batteries are insterted at the bottom of the sliding door.

Didn't Work At All!
Doesn't work! Had a Mitsubishi Friend who's a dealer follow all of the directions to set it up. Still didn't work! Told me to return it.

I ordered this but it only will turn on and off. You can’t set the temperature,timer,mode or anything else. I’m very sorry that I bought this and very dissatisfied
