Dry tasteless and almost odorless.. It could have been sawdust. Perhaps this was just a bad batch but I’m not buying their bulk spices again. I have some curry powder coming in a jar-we’ll see if that’s betterUpdate-I received My jars of Rani’s curry powder, tandoori masala and garam masala and they were all excellent! Perhaps the bulk nutmeg was just a bad batch.

He was thrilled when he received it and said the flavor and the aroma was outstanding. He likes nutmeg for cooking and in his coffee. He lost his supply of whole nutmeg, along with everything else he owned, in hurricane Harvey. He could only find powdered nutmeg which didn't cut it for him! Thanks for such a great product!

Thanks for these beautiful nurs of pure flavor. They look & smell so fresh. There are twice as many than in the local supermarket of the west bottle and at half the price! And I know the freshness if first rate. Got them yesterday and am making a fresh peach, from our tree, fully ripe and flavor, cobbler tomorrow. Wanted to add fresh wild blackberries, but the wildfires have burned out my picking spot. Nothing like homegrown. Yummy. Whip cream of ice cream?

Have only used one nutmeg so far and the quality was excellent. The nuts are larger than what I have been using, so holding them to grate is pretty easy.

I love this product and will be a customer for years to come. Great product, awesome, fast service, works great in any of my grinders and all at a reasonable price. This is Metal Chef Rocker Approved!!!!

Hope form that you have to grind up yourself is better because it's pure and it's stronger

Haven’t tried them yet but it will last quite awhile

I was having a tough time finding whole nutmeg at my local grocery store so I love how fast and convenient this was to order. I’m making several batches of egg nog fudge for the holidays and my recipe calls for fresh nutmeg in the fudge as well as grating some nutmeg on top for the best flavour and a pretty presentation. It smells amazing! Can’t wait to grate some on hot chocolates and Spanish coffees over Christmas!

I enjoy the flavour of the whole nutmeg as opposed to ground nutmeg. Its much stronger and intense flavour. The size and thickness of these are easy to hold while you grind the nut.

These have a wonderful aroma and flavour when grated.

So happy to be able to find whole nutmeg. There is nothing like the freshly grated.
