High quality solid copper wire, product description appears accurate (got what was promised). Used the wire for a fairly long (60ft) runs, with Klipsch 5800-C II ceiling speakers (for whole-home sound system), and can't really tell any difference between 60ft and 3ft. White jacket allows writing room labels directly on the wire. Feet markers are great and save a lot of time when cutting lengths. Though ease of installation isn't necessarily a priority for one-off projects (over sound quality and material longevity), this was very easy to install: jacket slides without getting caught on things and doesn't break easily. The wire is very bendy and stays like you want it, instead of being springy.

Perfect for pre-wiring home during remodel. No issues pulling from the box (in other words, didn’t tangle or bind). Make sure you have a good wire cutter, the bundle is thick with four 12 gauge wires!Probably overkill for my speakers/systems, but now I know I have capacity to spare and saved a ton of money DIY installing. Haven’t hooked anything up yet so can’t comment on sound quality, but based on the sheathing thickness and being 12 gauge wire I don’t anticipate any playback issues.Personally I wouldn’t want to try and install these with Sheetrock already put up as the wire is heavy and I imagine difficult to pull through...not saying it can’t be done, just think it could be frustrating.

It was time to upgrade the outdoors speaker wiring around the unground swimming pool & decided on buying Next 12 AWG/Gauge wire with 4 wires for the Polk outdoor stereo speakers.Great quality, ease of use and convenient box to hold and distribute the wire without getting tangled up. The cover is heavy and will protect the wire while buried underground from the elements.

Not true 12 awg and not as insulted as I thought it would have been. It will work. I need some sjoow 12/4 or soow 12/4, now those two are well insulted

Seems like fine wire, but time will tell how it works outside in the years to come.4 Stars only because the outer sheath is a little thinner that I expected but otherwise is ok.
