Jaybird Hex N More Ruler

Many different shapes in one stencil. Very useful.

I used this to cut pieces for a table runner. I have never sewn anything like this before and was very impressed on how easy it was to use this to cut the pieces to the correct size. I used it to cut the rectangular type pieces only. So glad that I bought it.

This is one of the best quilting rulers I own, if you don't have it already buy it! It's easy to use if you read the directions, or there's quick tutorials on YouTube. It's seriously a lifesaver for hexagons and half hexagons! I haven't used the jewel shape yet, but I'm intrigued to find a quilt or something with that shape.

I went to a quilt guild meeting recently where this template was presented. It works beautifully with very little waste. It is amazing to cut strips and then use the template to cut efficient, perfect shapes. It also cuts corners off that line up perfectly eliminating pinning. This template was worth every penny. My quilt is coming out beautifully with great nested seams.

Fantastic tool that I gave not fully explored, but if I only use it for the 4.5 inch acute triangles quilt, I will have gotten my money’s worth.Accuracy in cutting is critical, and this tool made it easy!

It's one of the most useful rulers/templates I have for quilting. I can make several different shapes in different sizes for sewing quilts. It's a nice thick plastic that is clearly marked. There are quilt patterns you can get from Jaybird quilts, and they're beautiful, or you can make up your own. It was a good purchase for me.

This one ruler can cut so many different shapes that can be used to make hexagon quilts. I like that so many different shapes can be cut in different sizes, and the points are trimmed with this ruler, making it very easy to match the pieces together. You are limited to these sizes, although it probably isn't very hard to figure out how to use it with different sizes. The quality of this ruler is very good - the edges are smooth and it feels very solid and makes it very easy to cut the shapes. The lines around the edge showing the seam allowance makes it very easy to fussy cut fabrics.
