Dependable machine but little slow
Good machine for the price I guess but I wish it were faster to do Americanos.

Do not buy it
I was tricked into buying this espresso bean to coffee machine by a few positive reviews. Unfortunately, after just 2 years, the machine stated leaking- as you see in the photos. After a conversation with the customer service, they suggested to repair it on my own cost, as the 2 warranty period has just past. Taking in account the expensive cost of the machine, I obviously found this suggestion ridiculous. So, my advise to you is: Do not buy this machine!I gave it a star just for the look!

Delicious coffee shop drinks from the comfort of my own home
The media could not be loaded. Most professional coffee machines can be a little intimidating, So this in-between range really suited me as its simple to use, But at professional coffee shop standards. The machine can make several types of coffee Including cappuccino, Latte's, Espresso and much more. All of this is at a simple push of the button, Taking the worry out of making complex hot drinks at home. The unit itself comes with instructions, But felt quite natural to set it up so i only needed the instructions on how to maintain and clean it.The back of the machine contains a water compartment where the supplied filter is screwed in. The coffee beans sit on the top compartment, And the milk has its own silver container with a nozzle for the milk tube. This is a well-built, Sturdy and easy to use machine that gives me coffee shop drinks throughout the day. It works best with a medium dry roast to keep the oils out of the system, But my favourite feature is being able to add an extra shot of frothy milk at a whim. This is definitely an excellent way of having that coffee shop taste, With a simple push of a button.Thank you for reading my review, I hope that is has been helpful to you.

Not bad but there are better
I bought this and thought it was pretty good. After 3 weeks it stopped frothing the milk. Only gave barely Luke warm milk. Replaced very efficiently by Amazon. New machine was fine for 2 1/2 months then the coffee strength started dropping off. I just added an extra shot but wasn’t hugely happy with this and was considering returning when the milk stopped frothing again. This time I returned and replaced with a Mellitta. The mellitta is very slightly more expensive but produces far better coffee in my opinion. In short, but the other one instead.

Loving a cappuccino ( 2 ) in lock down
I've been loving this machine two cappuccinos in one go just like the coffee ☕ shop but here with me during lockdown and I'm so grateful. It is of the best of quality and stands perfect and stylish on the kitchen worktop, around a foot tall. The milk stands in it's own container but attaches to the machine. It makes Cappuccino, Americano,Latte, Espresso and more including hot water.Loving the option buttons for a stronger coffee ☕ and I've been using light medium roast beans but will probably try other beans.Absolutely loving it and it's caught a few admirers already. Not to mention the delicious coffee it makes. This is my first coffee machine and I'm totally over the 🌙moon with it.Highly recommended

Classy machine for classic espresso, but some points to consider if comparing to alternatives
Lots of good things about this machine, so let's start there:- nice compact size, fits under the kitchen cupboard no problem (about a foot tall)- solidly build and very handsome with a brushed steel front surface, small but bright LED screen, and touch sensitive buttons- nice big water container, so you don't have to keep refilling all the time- very easy controls - main choices have dedicated buttons (espresso, lungo, cappucino, machiato - plus 'tea', i.e. hot water); other drinks on a short menu under 'more' (ristretto, double espresso, americano, frothy milk)- on-button options for "dark" (stronger coffee), "extra shot", or "double" (make 2 cups at once)- beans go in the top (it takes a whole 227g bag), with a cover to keep them dust free- if you want to get into it, there are options galore to customise your drink - change the grind of the beans, change the temperature of the water, etc)- you can set it to come on automatically in the morning, although in reality it is up to speed in a couple of minutes, so why bother- the spout slides up and down, so you can get pretty much any size of cup under it, right up to Starbucks beaker size- there is a filter included for hard water, as well as a testing kit to check your water and ensure the right setting (I did not try this, as I have the softest water level there is)- there are lots of automated programs for cleaning/rinsing the machine, and if you do not do them proactively, the machine will tell you after so many cycles when you need to do oneHowever, some niggles that emerged as I used it. None are disastrous, but if I were comparing to other options, I would consider these points:- the milk is fed in through a tube that attaches to the side of the spout. You can put this directly into a milk bottle, or fill the steel flask provided (although the rubber tube is a very tight and fiddle fit to get on). But definitely not as sleek and easy as an integrated milk chamber. Also, you cannot see how much milk is being used/left in the canister, so you tend to over-fill it to be safe- being German, this machine nags you all the time to do your chores (i.e., clean out the parts). Literally EVERY time you make a milky drink, you are expected to dismantle the spout, take out the milk assembly, take it apart and rinse it out. This is in addition to running a 'rinse program' using hot water.- on the Amazon product page, there is a video of how to clean the milk dispenser. This is misleading, in that it shows a small orange tool, neatly contained inside the spout. This tool IS NOT PROVIDED. Instead, there is a pathetic coil of super-thin wire provided taped to a bit of card that frankly will get lost in no time (and is useless anyway).- despite the huge water tank, this machine will only seem to produce a maximum of 120ml of non-milky coffee - even on Americano setting. This is a shame, as there is plenty of water to do bigger cups. I have to add boiled water from a kettle to make up to a full-sized cup.
