Great ide; hard to hang on to when polishing shoes
This is a handy kit for a quick shine for my Doc Martens, but consistently, when polishing shoes, the plastic applicator pops out of my hand. It has to do with the design of the top that holds the sponge. It needs some raised elements to keep it from slipping. Otherwise, I love it. I keep it in one shoe so I can apply a coat each time I wear the shoes.

I have used one of these for many years, just to freshen up my leather shoes and boots. I have gifted one to each of 3 daughters, when their boots look worn out and they think they need new boots. They polish their boots with this easy buffer, and they are delighted with the results. Everyone should have one of these.
