Good acid relief.

This product works great! I take it at bedtime and it works throughout the following day. Only thing is I used to get the prescription for 40 mg therefore, I have to take two of these since they are 20 mg each but they do work. Also a lot less expensive than the prescription. I take it at 11 PM every night, and it keeps working beyond 11 PM the following night. BUT, start feeling heartburn like six hours past the 24 hours so I make sure I take it the same time every evening even if it’s still working at 11 PM the following night I still take the next. Do not want to be caught with heartburn while at work or somewhere out there so I take it religiously at the same time every evening.

Nexium works well for me, but I buy it from Amazon because they always seem to be on sale and it comes every three months with no extra cost

Nexium is a great product that works well for me and it deserves a 5/5 star rating.The seller is the reason I rated this lower, although some of that may also be on me. I could've sworn it said it would arrive within two days when I ordered it, it did not. It was not prime shipping when I checked later, but I generally use a prime filter when ordering things like this. Maybe I didn't this time. Still, it was $10 more than a local store, when I had to go pick some up because it would not arrive in time.I tried to cancel, because of the price difference and the estimated arrival time, but was told they had just shipped it. It arrived and I expect it will work as expected.

NEXIUM is an amazing medication. I am not a big proponent of taking drugs, and I would rather find a "natural" approach to health, but when something works, you cannot knock it. I have GERD, and I would wake up in the middle of the night gasping for air, after aspirating food, and acid, into my lungs. This is a very scary situation, and you know what I mean, if you have ever experienced it. It literally feels like you have Pneumonia. I would also have a nagging cough, especially for a couple of hours after eating. After an Esophageal Endoscopy, my doctor discovered that I had erosion of the Esophagus, but luckily no cancer. My doctor prescribed Nexium to me, and I have never looked back. After 2 years on this medication, the erosion in my Esophagus has healed (actually healed after 6 months), shown by a follow-up Endoscopy. I no longer wake up in the middle of the night gasping for air . I do try to avoid acidic, starchy, and fried foods, and that helps, but nobody is perfect. I still like to have an occasional "treat". I also try not to eat late at night, before going to bed. I did all of this before taking Nexium, and it helped somewhat, but I would still occasionally wake up in the middle of the night, with food, and acid in my lungs. Now that I am on Nexium regularly, I have none of these episodes at night. The relief is amazing. I take Nexium daily. I started out on 40MG, but now take a daily maintenance dose of 20MG, and it works great. The warnings say that there are side effects, mainly brittle bones, but I have not experienced any of those, as of yet. The medication also says to only take it 14 days at a time. My doctor says that is total BS, and is just lawyer speak, to protect the drug companies. He said he has patients that have taken Nexium daily for 10 or 20 years, with no ill effects. Now remember that not all people react the same way to all medications, and what works for some people, may not work for others. You also may, or may not, experience any of the listed side effects. However, if you are experiencing debilitating GERD, I would highly recommend consulting your doctor about Nexium. It could make a huge difference in your life. I know it has in mine, and I would HIGHLY recommend taking Nexium, if it will help your individual situation.
