Great quality and performance. I have tried several adapters and converters trying to get my projector to do native 4k with audio out. With this it just works.

Outstanding sound easy to get set up

Only reason for a 1 star, we bought one unit and it is great!, accidentally purchased a second unit, it was in our cart by error, returned the second unit and we have wait over 90 days and still no refund!

it worked great as soon as i plugged it in SONY!

We bought this to replace an old Panasonic in our bedroom. Quite easy to setup. Connected the Sound Bar and sub and ran the auto-config. Worked perfectly. Made some minor config changes, which are done through the panel not an on-screen menu. It does have a very low volume hum, but it's not really noticeable when watching TV even at low volumes. All-in-all I'm pleased with the ease of basic setup, the sound and the added benefit of additional HDMI ports. I gave it 4 stars because they really should have on-screen setup for manual settings like they undoubtedly have on their higher end models. a final note: If you are still using an old Logitech remote the config file for this model barely works at all, so back to using individual remotes (ugh!)

addendum Finally received the cable bundle for this order but it was hardly worth the wait. The bundle included 10 banana plugs a dust cloth and 2 supposedly high-end newer HDMI cables. What came was cheap HDMI cables that look nothing like what's pictured. I didn't use them. My older HDMI were much better built for sure. I was hoping to get some newer HDMI.2 cables. These just say HDMI-a whatever that means. I've only used the Sony for 2 days and all is working as it should.

Great receiver, good price. No problems to install, sounds great.

Everything about this receiver is very good, except the one thing I dontb like is I can not watch the TV with out the surround sound system. Some times I do not need it so it would be nice not to have the surround sound all day if the grandkids are here.
