Quality product.
This cod liver oil came recommended by a Physician years ago due to how it’s processed. It is fermented and because of this process, you’re benefitting from all its benefits which includes a good source of natural vitamin D.

Very Surprised
Very fast shipping from this supplier. It shipped from Arizona, so I expected to wait at least 5 business days and was thrilled when it arrived in two as I needed it in a pinch. I've never reviewed a product on Amazon, but this one has made a difference in such a short amount of time, that I feel compelled to do so. I'm a 34 year old mother to a wonderful 14 month old who is breastfed. I did develop some cavities and enamel loss despite adequate calcium intake. My insurance is major medical only, so filling cavities there's at least 6 on my bottom teeth is not in our budget. After extensive research, I started drinking raw grass-fed milk, making my own butter oil, and also purchased this product. I started drinking the milk a couple of months ago and if I miss a few days of drinking it, I get intense tooth pain. Since I've upped my milk intake considerably, started with the butter oil, and now the cod liver oil, my pain is completely gone. My top teeth are no longer loose, and I can actually see new enamel starting to develop over the small cavities!! I did not expect such a difference in such a short period of time. I've also had some unintended awesome side effects. I've always suffered with acne, even as an adult. I don't really have it now because of the breastfeeding, but I have dark marks from scarring and I also worked as a landscaper, so I've developed a rougher, sun damaged texture. My skin has dramatically changed. The texture is much much smoother, pores are smaller, wrinkles lessened. I can't believe it. The downside is I would definitely recommend sunscreen and do not exfoliate! It's only been a short time, so I can't wait to see how much better it gets in a month or so. It's also increased my energy, I find I need much less coffee in the morning. I take 2 ml, three times a day, but will avoid taking it in the evening, in the future, just to avoid evening energy. The taste is ok. It's not terrible, but the orange does little to hide the flavor. I take it with my butter oil and it hides the flavor and prevents the tingle/slight burning in my throat from the fermentation. This will always be a staple in our family. Feeling the effects of this products makes me realize how truly nutritionally deficit I really was.

Excellent product for a malnourished person who needs a mega dose of vitamin A and D.
This is a very potent product for someone who is recovering from rickets or a serious illness that requires lots of vitamin A and D. However, for a healthy person, it is not for being taking daily for a long period of time such as several months. Remember that milk and cheese are also fortified with vitamin A and D and some vegetables such as spinach, cruciferous vegetables, and carrots and other foods have them too. In addition muscle meats are a good source of vitamin A and D. Therefore, with this product, you may end up ingesting too many times over your daily needs of vitamin A and D. Remember that these two vitamins are oil soluble and accumulate in the liver and have the potential to be toxic. In addition fish oil in general is a form of PUFA which is inflammatory. If after taking cod liver oil for some time you experience ringing in the ears (caused by brain pressure), migraines, a burning sensation on the arteries on each side of your neck, increased blood pressure, dizziness, confusion, and balance problems, my humble recommendation is to discontinue it immediately because it is very likely you already got intoxicated by an excess of vitamin A or D or by the fish oil itself.

Saw improvement in tooth enamel within 10 days
I had noticed that my tooth enamel was getting more translucent. I also had been plagued with recurring gum infections -- and none of the supplements I had been taking seemed to make a difference While I had tried other products that were suppose to support remineralization of teeth, none improved my teeth / dental health. I eat very clean -- no processed sugars / gmo grains, etc. Then I thought back to my childhood, when cod liver oil was a frequent fallback supplement, especially during cold weather. (Dosage was by the spoonful back then; no handy capsules like these.) I began to research, and eventually came across this product. After reading the reviews, I decided to try it. I was totally delighted to see how fast I saw improvement. In just over a week, I could see a noticeable difference. My tooth enamel definitely was looking denser / whiter... And my gums, healthier. I paired this also with Blue Ice CLO -- with the butter oil. Taking one capsules each per dose. For me, the capsules go down smoothly. I couldn't be more pleased / relieved. I definitely recommend them. One surprise: I have fine, silver-grey hair... And while it is subtle, my hair looks as if's beginning to recolor slowly. Texture is improving, and my hair looks fuller.

Great For Teeth
I've used Blue Ice Fermented Cod Liver Oil capsules to help manipulate a wisdom tooth into a more favorable position in my mouth. Along with modest amounts of Kerrygold butter (a synergist), the cod liver oil seems to cause my gums to be more forgiving, or the roots of my teeth to be more malleable. Either way, I've been able to shift the angle of the wisdom tooth so that my jaw's range-of-motion, as well as the aesthetic alignment of the rest of my teeth, has not been disturbed. (Elaborating on the ROM of my jaw, the way my tooth was initially coming out affected my ability to eat--and there was a lot of pain.) Along with a nutrient-dense diet, I took the capsules and ate some Kerrygold butter for a few days and pushed on my tooth with clean hands multiple times a day. It actually shifted enough so that my mouth essentially went back to normal... aside from the fact that I had a newly-cut wisdom tooth! More recently, that same tooth started poking out even more and I went through the same process. My smile is still full of straight teeth, my jaw still works properly, and now I can floss behind my cheeky molar (pun intended). Blue Ice's fermented cod liver oil is great and I've recommended it to others, but I personally only use it when I have issues with my mouth. At least as regards my personal chemistry, I have a feeling that if I supplemented with it regularly, it would cause the rest of my teeth to become too mobile--which is something I don't need. It's powerful stuff; but honestly, the more I learn about the foods and the natural components that were designed for us on this planet, the more I can't help but admire how everything fits together so perfectly. I will say, however, that at the present price listed here at Amazon... you can buy Green Pasture's Blue Ice Fermented Cod Liver Oil capsules for much better savings elsewhere.

Authentic Fresh Green Pasture Product
This is authentic green pasture product. I read a few reviews that said they didn't think it was fish oil or fresh I can guarantee that they are. I have purchased green pasture from a health store to aid in repairing tooth decay and the number on the bottle is not the expiration date it is the manufacture date. You can tell when they are fresh because it smells herby and a little spicy. I have had mine other bottle for about 6 months and it doesn't smell herby anymore. You can tell if the oil is fresh because it's light colored but I have had mine for almost six months and they are turning brown showing they are getting old. They were light Amber colored when I first bought them. Another way you can tell it is genuine green pastures is they separate their product with plastic to prevent sticking which I personally love but I take it out when the pills are playing hide and seek in it ;). I took two pills last night and I feel great today. I haven't been as dedicated to my pill routine as I was before and my health is clearly affected. When I take it I feel nourished at ease but when I don't I am clumsy and tired. I don't feel like doing things but when I do I feel like I have the energy to do anything. I am very glad I found these online it's almost half the price I pay in a health store! I think the people who didn't think the product was authentic or expired just don't have experience with either this brand or fermented cod liver oil. The last thing I love about this company besides their ethics is that they use no gelatin capsules! I was not asked to leave this review and I was offered nothing for my opinion I just wanted to leave a review for the people who might not know what to look for or how to tell if their product was genuine and/or fresh.
