Very nice chess computer
Nice looking chess computer, can challenge about any level, has helpful hints, give you the names of openings,can inform you of bad moves. Have had several different chess computers over the years, I like this one the most.

Will not allow legal moves and suggests illegal moves.
The media could not be loaded. Very disappointed that this highly anticipated game performed so poorly.During my second game, it would not let me make a legal move with my knight. It buzzed loudly. During my third game it wouldn’t let me choose any move and was trying to force me to move my queen as if it were a knight (see attached video). During the third game, in midgame, it made my opponent move its king as if it were a knight. And so on.Very disappointing. Everything else seemed fine about the quality of the game, except for the fact that the gold metal strip that is applied to the control panel was peeled up on one side.Unfortunately, this rattles my confidence in any of the newer electronic chess games.

the cure for too much blitz
if, like me, you've spent the last five months playing online blitz because you are in quarantine from the pandemic then this machine is the best way to get in some slow games too. The playing level is challenging and it makes you stop and calculate for a change. I would rather be playing tournaments but it looks like it is going to be a long time before that happens again! So in the meantime I recommend this machine for a good sparring partner who never complains what time it is or if you have to take a phone call in the middle of a game.

Works great, now all I have to do is get back into playing chees after 40 years of hiatus.

Very nice appearance but?
I thought the instructions on how to operate the computer was too annoying. I couldn’t figure it out no matter how hard I try. The lettering imprinted on the manual was definitely hard to read, and then none of that writing material made sense. Let it be known that my chess knowledge it’s above average, I been playing since I was a kid, now I’m over 60 years old
