Hell of a deal
Victorinox makes quality knives for a good price. And this set is a bargain for the price. I use these type knives every day paring and slicing veggies. Very practical.

The best knife ever
Love these knives, we were gifted one knife from this brand almost 10 years ago and even though we have gone through a few other knife sets we have kept the one knife, it is easily our favorite and we often would wash it before using our other ones. I finally just bought more of these and my only regret is that I didnt do it sooner. Worth the money, they are sharp, sharpen easily, smooth and comfortable to hold. Our one we have had for 10 years is in perfect condition no cracks rust or anything wrong with it. Definitely try these!

Dishwasher safe and sharp
I bought these to add to my set that I've had for years. These smaller knives somehow get thrown away in my house. They hold up well in the dishwasher. A must in my home. They are sharp and light. They don't tarnish with time either.

Razor sharp idea - buy these
I still don't know how Victorinox does this for the price, but here's proof that they know what they are doing. Perfect size small paring knives, with the usual hyper-sharp Victor edge suitable for splitting the atom effortlessly. Handles are nubbly high-grip plastic (other kitchen-ware websites say polypropylene). Blades have no bolster, but given the handle friction this probably is not a problem 1. The straight parer is just right for general prep work and will retire an old no-name parer. The other two are interesting. 2. The serrated edge parer is capable of slicing the toughest thin mushy vegetable skin (think ripe tomato) and make paper-thin slices. Works as well as the Victor tomato knife (I have one but will give it to my GF in favor of the shorter blade). 3. The reverse curved-blade parer (Bird's beak) introduced me to a French technique for prepping firm vegetables (make garnishes or "tournes" from carrots, potatoes, yams and other firm, solid not onion-style vegetables). Tourne cuts are curved uniform thickness strips and leave a 7-sided (!) core. Also suitable for peeling small spherical fruit. Online consensus is that Tourne is a master-chef flourish technique to show how skilled one is. I'm not sure how much I'll use it but it may be more useful than I think. Williams-Sonoma wants $55 for a birds beak Wusthof. If you are a master chef or just need the bragging rights you should get a Wusthof and display it prominently on your kitchen counter as a conversation-starter; otherwise, buy this set and use this knife occasionally. Overall, this is a buy; three knives for the price of two. You could do worse.

Be careful they're very sharp!
Out of the box they're very sharp, I use the two straighter ones a lot for work, always super comfortable to use. I got these because my old chef had the serrated one and it like never rusted from the way he stored it. When my workhorse isn't precise enough these guys always save the day! Get these for anyone you know who cooks they'll truly appreciate these knives.

Victorinox knives never disappoint!
I’m a home-cook and I’ve owned a couple of knives in the past. I’ve always had a great experience with Victorinox knives, especially with their chef’s knife, because I don’t need to sharpen it too often. Their knives are budget-friendly, light to carry, and I love their handles since it doesn’t strain my wrist and I don’t worry of accidentally cutting myself while chopping and prepping the food. I’ve been looking for paring knives since I don’t want to take out my chef’s knife for cutting small items.

We had previously been given one of these paring knives and it is durable, retains its sharpness and comfortable to use when preparing meals. We decided to get rid of our older knives and ordered the Victorinox set which are proven to work well.
