Purchased these wands for use by my Fire Department Fire Police for Traffic Control at emergency scenes. Size, weight and power source type (D cells instead of C or AA or even AAA that some use) definitely better option for longer duty cycles. Units good length and brightness for dark and dusk lighting conditions. Ability to quickly cycle from red to green makes STOP/GO indications to traffic much more recognizable, especially for less experienced traffic control personnel. After purchasing these units for evaluation, promptly purchased more units to equip more response vehicles. Only drawback is fairly light duty plastic construction will likely not survive an 8' drop onto concrete, but one unit did survive a 4' drop and still works fine with only scratches to handle.

I am an aircraft marshaller at an FBO, and these wands are fantastic! Granted they're only good for nighttime use only, and can barely see during the day; for me who works nights shift (6pm-6am), me marshaling any aircraft from an Airbus A320 to a little Cessna Skyhawk, these wands get the job done! Many times I get compliments from the pilots saying: "those are the coolest wands I have ever seen!" They're not only great for marshaling, but also excellent for wingwalking! They're easy to make clear and concise signals for handling expensive equipment and property! They easily get the attention of both fellow co-workers towing aircraft and pilots taxiing on the ramp. The alternate colors are very useful too, and I use them frequently as well!Overall great product! I find myself changing out the batteries about every 2 to 3 months or so; they're durable during adverse weather such as rain and are very helpful in foggy conditions!

Good product good price but it definitely could have been a lot brighter a little disappointed in the brightness

It works as advertised but be warned these are not meant to be used in the rain. Both stopped working in the middle of traffic control. I was able to dry them out and it took several weeks but they are working fine again.

The work great. The only thing I'd they don't blink green, just blinks red only. Other than that they do just fine. Very easy to see in the dark, really lightweight.

After using the flashlight twice for evening services at church, one of the flashlights failed when performing an op check while moving it. Discussed flashlight failure with seller. At first, great support. Freely sent me the top portion of the light (LEDs) within three work days as he said they sometimes fail, but unfortunately that did not fix the problem.When I opened the light and inspected it more closely, I noted the fault in the copper run on the battery side of the unit. (See attached photo). The seller then stated he couldn't help me further and I was told to go to Amazon directly whose policy is only good for 30 days. (The light was purchased before Christmas 2016). Amazon's Return Policy stated to, "Contact the seller."Long story short - I'd stay away from this seller as he does not support his sub-standard product.

I liked this product because it is light weight and easy to use. The fact that it has two different colors red and green makes it easier for the driving public to know when to stop and or go. The lights are really bright and easy to see. When using both at the same time one can be red and the other green which makes it easier to control traffic.

Honestly these are nearly unusable. First off... the large spring that’s in the base handle that the batteries press against was completely messed up inside both of mine. I had to spend several mins just trying to fix that issue. Once I got that fixed I tried them and one still didn’t work. The grounding strip that comes up the inside wasn’t high enough to make contact when you screwed both parts together. Again I had to perform surgery. I got the second one working but I am absolutely not willing to put my life, or others lives, in the hands of these horribly made products. I guess I will just keep them as wall ornaments or find some kids to give them too. Please consider finding another source for these items. The quality just isn’t there. I’m very confused about the positive reviews. Not sure how these could get a 5 or 4... heck or even a 3 star from any person that’s intending to use these for their intended purpose. Please use caution.
