No blade movement in open position.
This knife has served me well. Light, thin and sharp. It’t easy to open with one hand with a little practice. Feels good in hand and clipped in the pocket. Lock blade.

This is a WINNER!
Everything you want all in one great package!I have been looking for that perfect EDC knife for a while. I’m not new to owning/ collecting all types of different knives. This is the one!! All around ergos are great, I do not see any flaws, ppl talk about sharp edges etc.. I don’t feel any. That’s just straight up nit picking. The blade shape is that perfect all around utilitarian shape, very versatile. Again perfect for EDC! G10 handles are flawless with the perfect balance of grip and weight. Action is great.. may take a few flicks to get down to where your comfortable with it. But once you get it down , it’s great! No lose screws, no blade play no hot spots.Listen this folder is MORE than enough for EDC. VERY STRONG! That tri ad lock is amazing, and how they got all this strength and size into this weight category is beyond me. Perfect for EDC , and weight is LIte! (As the name suggests)I could go on and on..So if your like me .. and looking for that perfect EDC where you can cut cardboard or take out to the woods for harder use , but don’t need a machete in your pocket … this is the the knife for you!Trust me!!

Great product
Slim enough for the pocket and thick enough for the hand. Good comfort in hand. Great for EDC. Grinds lend well for heavy and fine cutting task. Steel take a razor edge easily and holds up well. Great knife for the price. Great thumb stud for ease of opening. A near perfect carry blade. Performs as I expected from a Cold Steel product.

One of the Top 2 EDC knives in my collection
It’s lightweight, ergonomic, an amazing value and in a great steel. I wear an XL glove and this knife just feels amazing through extended use. It’s a very simple knife but done so well. The added strength of a Triad lock but being Chris Reeves smooth is surprising. Especially at the $55 price point. I love the blade shape, it’s great for all your EDC tasks. The Aus10a steel was a massive surprise. It sharpens right up, takes a stupid edge, strops right back and holds an edge like 154cm or good S35vn. I reprofiled it to 15 degrees and took the edge to 10k on a Chosera. Then I stripped it down to .25 micron on basswood with Richmond diamond. The edge that came up just filleted handheld hairs.

Awesome knife but not for my needs.
Awesome knife but the blade geometry is to thick for my needs. The action is smooth and rock solid as you would expect from a triad lock, easy to flick open with your thumb or reverse flick easy and slow rolls open nice and smooth. Grip is excellent as is typical with the very grippy G10 that coldsteel uses and its feel in hand is excellent. Sharp out the box is great, cold steel Taiwan made knives have factory edges figured out and do a great job only second to spyderco on factory edges. It's a back lock/mid lock so it's easy to use and intuitive for new knife people. The size is perfect for Edc, it's a thin and light weight knife that carries nicely and is tough as nails. My only issue with it is I wanted thinner cutting geometry so it would slice well and it looked to have the geometry I wanted in Pic but it's not as thin behind the edge as it looks so while it will be a great knife that's capable of harder use it will not be a super slicer as it's a little to thick to really slice well.

Very sharp, lightweight, and thin!
Another great blade from Cold Steel. I will say this knife is much thinner and lighter than I anticipated which makes it a little harder to quickly pull off of the pocket and open. The knife comes very sharp out of the box and is so light you literally forget you have it on you unless you feel it randomly in your pocket lolIf you want a sleek, light, and low profile blade...

Great EDC knife with one flaw
All in all this is I think one of the better EDC knives out there. It’s got a good blade with good steel, extremely light white, and that super durable cold steel triad lock. The only flaw with it is the pocket clip is not removable. It is reversible, but it is not removable. The handle design requires screws on the clip side and the non-clip side to hold the handle together. And the clip side screws are just a little bit too long, if you remove the clip. an extra set of screws would’ve made this in my opinion one of the perfect EDC Knives.

Had to return.
I guess sometimes you just get a lemon. I really liked the size, weight and feel. It just was impossible to open and close smoothly.
