Delicious crepes, thin pancakes, wafers
I had no idea that you could do so much with this little gadget. It's the size of a large pancake, or an ice cream cone if you were to unfold it and lay it out. I have been looking for a crepe pan and I think this is much better. I just got it and I tried a small batch. All you do is spoon the batter (one spoon and a half) onto the pan after heating it up first, close it, flip it over and in seconds, it's done. No need to butter or grease the pan. I put a little butter in the batter. I'm still figuring out how to adjust the heat so that it browns evenly. If you brown it too much, it becomes a crispy wafer and you can't fold it. I made one by mistake and I have to tell you, a little bit of caramel and nuts on top and you got yourself a delicious dessert. You can make them soft, but they won't brown much, and fold them like a crepe. I sprinkled mine with a little bit of powdered sugar and cinnamon and my family couldn't keep their hands off of them. They're so light. You will love it. I think it's worth the money. You can actually make a small size mille crepe cake with it.

Gets the job done
I love this. It's not expensive. There are no instructions. So u basically have to do a trial run. I put 1 tablespoon of homemade waffle cone mix in the center of waffle maker. I have a gas stove. It's on high. Once mix stops sliding on maker, then II close top lid down, put on fire, press til I see the mix come to the edge of maker, wait a second, then clip the handles together to flatten. If you dont wait a second before clipping handles, the mix will spill out. Give it a moment to cook before clipping handle. Then cook a lil over 1 min. Make sure the maker is in center of fire or the waffle cone will not cook evenly. 2 min is too long. Cone will burn fast. Then after a minute and maybe 15 seconds. Take off the stove. Unclip handle. Remove from maker immediately because the cone maker is hot and seems to still cook the mix. The side that looks lighter should face towards ceiling. Darker side of cone should face down. Get your cone molder. I just used aluminum foil, shaped it into a cone. Roll it on your molder in an angle. Warning: cone is hot!!!. Then pinch the bottom to close it. It hardens fast. Remove mold because if it hardens while mold is still inside cone. You will ruin cone trying to get mold out. And that's it. Store it in a container. I have a child who has milk and soy allergy. The recipe I used doesnt have milk. And I use soy and dairy free butter. All cones came out different colors. Because there is no temperature control when using stovetop. So your judgement on when to remove from fire counts.

Does not come with a lid or cover...
I wish it had a cover, so you would not have to flip them

Electric burner = GOOD
I grew up with gas stoves, but now have electric coil. This works fine.It fits over the small burner. Not so good over the large burner.I warm up one side for 5 minute on medium, flip over, warm up other side.Open. Use brush to apply light layer of oil***I do own cast iron presses. This is lighter and easier for daily use indoors.Easy to clean. Much easier than any other non-stick appliance I have had.Wipe off with a paper towel.Use silicone or wood utensils. don't scratch with metalExperiment is the key.Tortillas = yespancakes = yescrepe = yessmash regular bread = yeswaffle cone = yeswaffles = noIt does not have a rim / edge, so you cannot put runny stuff like plain eggsHandle is long and stays coolI would buy this again.

Basic simple pan to try out how to make cones at home
I purchased this pan because I could not find a good electric one. The pan looks and feel extremely cheap. It is very small in size also (well I must have checked better before placing an order). The disadvantage of using it is that it leaks on a sides and the gas stove that we have at home requires cleaning after each use.Regarding the final results - we made great ice cream cones, rolled them and ate with the tea as cookies :)We will be purchasing a better pan / electric device for it, this is not very convenient to use.

Perfect for Waffle Cones and Cups
I'm so glad I made this purchase. Definitely a great value for the money. After trial and error, I got a good recipe, a good set-up for my glass electric stove, and a good method of making waffle cones and waffle cups. I put a small scoop of batter in the middle, wait 2 min, open it, flip the waffle with a wooden utensil, close, and heat for 1 min. The non-stick is so good that I don't need any oil or butter at all. It's so easy to clean, too. To make the cups, I use a 3 in. ramekin and push it down with a medication bottle. I'm looking forward to using this for crepes!

Cheaply made
This product was cheaply made and the pan squeezes the batter out of all sides as soon as you bring the top down. I tried thick batters thin batters, high heat, low heat and nothing worked. Also it didn't lay flat on my stove so even if it did work, it would have cooked unevenly. Not worth the money, do not buy this product.

It's so easy to cook waffles
That's great. You don't have to worry about the food falling out of your waffles anymore. Get hand weight is full, think light good-looking that also get classics to use! So he immediately took it to the kitchen to try it out. The operation is easier than I thought, in less than 1 minute, the eggs are fully cooked, 3 minutes waffle is ready, slightly brown, very appetising, the edge of the frying pan has extended edge, effectively avoid food extrusion leaking, is a cooking tool, worth getting!
