My 7yr old loved this he read it at home and also took to school for his teacher to read to the class. Needless to say he is a Beast Quest fan.

GREAT STORY LINE FOR 7YR OLD KIDS GOOD WITHOUT BEING TOO SCARY

Tom is now on the 5th part of the first series of his Beast Quest. Although perhaps rather predictable, in that we all know that the good guy will triumph in the end, it's a good series to encourage reluctant/struggling boy readers who like the fantasy genre. I've used it for this purpose with two pupils who fit that reader profile & it's fulfilled my aims completely. Like any saga, the author has added interest with the differing details in each book.

One of the many Beast Quest books popular with 7-10 year olds this year. The stories capture the ideas of children about what it would be like to have adventures in a world of magic and amazing beasts. The characters are easily accessible to this age group, and the stories are not too complex. 5 stars for Adam Blade.

Great book for reluctant readers and those with language difficulties, dyslexia.
