Very solid, built to last. Use non- stick spray with it, helps stop burning.

This Grate was heavier than I expected and the ceramic coating has held up well so far. I don't use it for it's intended purpos. I use it on top of a heavy steel cooking grid and the ceramic coating is a much nicer, and potentially healthier, surface to cook on. I wish it were an inch larger in each direction but as is it handles 90% of all our grilling needs. It goes through the dish washer with no problems but needs careful hand cleaning for the baked on heavy stuff.

Great product for a great price

This is a replacement. Two years ago, we purchased the grill and used it once. Travel trailers have all to amenities of home, but on a scaled down version. After using the grill for burgers, it was wiped down, but not throughly cleaned in the sink. It was stowed away in the original box, cleaned off as well as paper towels can do.While preparing for our first outing since Covid, I pulled the grill out to make sure it was ready for service. I was surprised to find the grill surface was pock marked and very slightly rusted. Apparently, whatever grease that had been left behind had destroyed the shiny surface on the grill and allowed the metal to rust. I thought it was ceramic or something equally durable.I’ll baby the replacement, as I hope to get more than one use of it. The gas itself performs well enough. I’m still on the original small propane bottle.
