Roosebeck Deluxe Prima Balalaika Walnut w/Extra String Set

This is definitely a good choice for a beginner student. I have had very bad luck buying balalaikas from overseas in the past, and I am very pleased with the quality of this instrument. It is not a toy by any means, despite its weight. I realize it is made in Pakistan, and therefore has some non Russian characteristics. But I would recommend it to anyone interested in learning the basics of the balalaika. I bought it thinking I would practice while whiling away the evenings on an exes porch. So I learned the minor chords first. Then I realized how deranged she was, and it’s ALL majors for me now!
