Very fresh, good taste, cheap.

I received this flavour (Happy Birthday) today and it is so gross we had to toss it out. This is not at all the quality or consistancy of David's other cakes. The cake was crumbly and very dry, and the frosting was like wax, not even a frosting flavour to it. And it was not precut. When we sliced it in anticipation, there was a ton on the counter and floor--just so dry and crumbly. I suggest their vanilla (with rainbow cake layers)

It's a great gift, timely delivery, and the receiver of the gift was pleased.

I see they now want 40.00 for this TINY cake ?? It was a terrible value at 36.00. It tastes BAD , the icing tastes like oil with no flavor of cake icing at all . The texture is oily and it has NO FLAVOR ! It’s really SMALL !! It’s dry and barely enough for 2 regular pieces of cake . Do them a favor and do NOT buy this. I wouldn’t pay 20.00 for it and they just increased the price ? Ha

It is a nice cake but a little too sweet. You can have 1/8 at most at a time. Maybe I should have tried the chocolate one.

Wasn’t sure what to expect, but it came a few days earlier than I expected as per delivery date. That was ok because it came frozen and we just put it back in the freezer till we were ready for it. Everyone loved it. I will definitely order again

Cake was sent to a family member 700 miles away. It looked like it was in a freezer with the Happy Birthday looking discolored. Frosting looked old and the taste of cake and frosting was stale. I called Amazon. They are crediting the cost to me. However, I would have been embarrassed if I sent the cake to someone besides my sister who was willing to warn me about how bad it was. Also, I ordered the cake according to the time line on Amazon check out. The cake arrived 5 days before it should have. As a birthday cake that was way too soon.
