It is perfect and you don’t have to always use all the tiers. I will be using it more often than I thought. Very easy to put together and take apart and very strong. Stores in compact box. Highly recommend!

Only problem is that the video shows it rotating,it doesn’t rotate,that is the reason I purchased it but overall it was priced right. Don’t let the video fool you into buying it.

I love, love, love this Sumerflos cupcake stand!!! I throw a lot of parties, from birthday's to celebrations, to graduation, to ladies meetings, etc., and this stand has come in handy so many times already!For starters, this is a five tier cupcake/treat stand. At the very top, you'r basically getting one cupcake on top as shown in my picture, and from there you can start layering. I used 24 cupcakes in my photo for a mini birthday party, and I did have room for more if I wanted to squeeze a few more in the bottom layers. Not many more, or they'd squish together, but I still could add some if I wanted to.In putting this together, it took me less than ten minutes. Out of the box, this set comes in a reusable bag, and each leg and middle piece is in a small zippered bag so I can reuse those as well. Nothing goes to waste! Each tier has a covering on the back and front that is a little hard to peel off, but once off, all you need to do is get the largest (bottom) tier, and the four short legs, and four screws that come with it. There is even a mini screwdriver that comes with this also. The screw fits in the "bowl" shape so the screw head is flat to the tier, so make sure you start it out with the four bowl shape screws up top so the feet can be attached. After that I turned it sideways, used one screw and a long middle piece and turned it until it was tight. Then I attached a double ended screw in the top of the middle piece, added another tier, and kept this up until I got to the top where a short screw goes. I added three AA batteries to the light box, clicked the switch on, and it has magnets underneath to hold the light box up. That was it! Done! My cupcake stand looks awesome, and is easy to undo and wash with warm water to clean. I have had so many compliments on it! And I love that I don't "have" to use the light box. Do note that the light box changes colors, and it's automatic. You can't choose just one color. But it looks beautiful, holds up well, and I say this because I've moved it very carefully from one side of the room to the other with the cupcakes on it, and it never budged. Great product, good quality, and this will get so many more uses!!!

I have wanted a pastry display for years. But, I did not have a place to store a large one that stayed set up. I did not like the cheap, plastic or cardboard ones I saw that I could take apart and put back together. This is the perfect compromise.The acrylic layers are really nice looking. Yet, it is lightweight, easy to assemble in multiple configurations, and stores easily.It has its own storage bag. I kept the box it came in, however. The box is small enough, allows it to be stacked with other things, and adds an extra layer of protection.I really like the fact that I can set it up with all of the layers or just some of them.In addition to making a wonderful cupcake stand, it makes a lovely way to serve fresh fruit.For a simple brunch with friends, I like to serve blueberry oatmeal muffins, fresh fruit, and a pumpkin martini (orange juice based). This is perfect to stack the muffins and fruit on.The lighted LED base is just a fun bonus.I am extremely happy with this cupcake stand.
