This Book is Perfect for Newbies and for Seasoned Eggheads
I've tried many recipes from Craig's new cookbook. They were so flavorful and easy to make. What is really cool is each recipe come with instructions on how to set up your Big Green Egg. I've had 2 Eggs for 4 years. I learned new ways to set the Egg up that work much better. This book is for newbies and for seasoned Eggheads. I highly recommend it. Enjoy!!

Knowledgeable and unique bbqing!
What's great about this book is it doesn't just give you the same old info that most all bbq books give you. Yes we know, low and slow this and that at 225f for this long until this temp and let rest... Craig gives unique points on the basics, but what really shines are these recipes. Want to do a cake, some sushi or how about paella?! He's got you. I've done a few and they're absolutely hits with the friends and family.This is well worth the price of admission just for one of his bbq concepts and recipes, but he gives you a book packed full of them. It's been a great addition to my bbq book collection. If you're considering getting one, get two and share with a friend, y'all won't regret it. :)

Love the recipes and pictures!
Big fan of this creator and his recipes. Love that they have pictures of the recipes and directions are easy to follow. I actually gift this cook book to any friends who purchase a Big Green Egg.

One more for the TOP SHELF on my bookshelf...
I'm an avid kamado cooking enthusiast, so I knew about Big Green Craig Tabor well before this book came out and I also had the pleasure of meeting him several years ago at a local event. Craig knows his way around a kamado grill better than anyone. The stuff he pulls off on his kamado have been great inspirations for my own kamado cooking. Craig is one of the reasons I cook more than burgers, steaks, and hot dogs in mine. I pre-ordered this book and it arrived here yesterday. I have already been through it from cover to cover.Craig opens this book with a short history of how he came to love kamado cooking and follows it with a lesson on how the kamado works and some accessory items you may enjoy having with your kamado. The kamado is NOT a complex cooking system and Craig shows you how the grill is setup, how you light your fires, and follows with some specific setup information for smoking, grilling, and baking configurations. After that, you are off to the races with a nice collection of Craig's amazing recipes.These recipes walk you through a variety foods and topics that will help you become one with your kamado. Burgers, steaks, and hot dogs are just the tip of a ginormous ice berg of goodness that can come from the grill grates on your kamado. One of *MY* favorite recipes in this book is Craig's Maple Bacon Oatmeal Cookies. This is the first recipe of Craig's that I ever cooked. Who would have thought you could put bacon in a cookie? Well let me tell ya... It's a game changer.Thanks to Craig for the hard work that went into this one... I'm gonna enjoy a lot of these recipes....- John Setzler

Great Resource
After purchasing several BBQ/Smoking books over the years this one has quickly become my favorite. The author lays out simple straight forward tips and techniques right from the beginning that translate to most type kamado smokers not just the Egg.In the recipes you can find most of the standards from ribs, chicken, pizza, butts and brisket and also more complex ideas like baking dessertsI recommend this book to anyone interesting in kamado style cooking

One of the best cooking guides for the big green egg or any Kamado style grill! Fantastic recipes with flavours from all over !

More of a gourmet recipe book
There are lots of recipes but we returned the book as we were looking for more of an instruction manual on using the big green egg mini as we 'inherited' one but not instructions came with it.
